Earlier we showed you a rendering of the new Samsung Google Nexus Prime, or Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and now it looks like we have our first actual photo, of Samsung and Google’s first Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone.


The photo below appeared on Gadget.ro, along with a video showing the Google Nexus Prime in action, but it looks like the video has now been pulled from the site.

It looks very interesting from the photo, and considering the specifications we have heard we suspect this is going to b a popular Android smartphone, which is reported to feature a 4.65 inch curved glass Super AMOLED display, a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 5 megeapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Samsung and Google are expected to unveil the Samsung Google Nexus Prime, or the Samsung Galaxy Nexus at Samsung’s Mobile Unpacked event next week, where we are also expecting Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich to be unveiled.


Samsung has been teasing us with the design of the new Google Nexus Prime, and yesterday we got to hear some more Nexus Prime specifications, now we have a mock up design of the Samsung Nexus Prime, which is based on the Samsung video that we saw the other day.

The design looks very interesting, I guess we will find out exactly what it looks like next week, so far we have heard that the Google Nexus Prime will features Android Ice Cream Sandwich, plus a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and the display is said to feature curved glass.

Earlier today we heard about HTC’s latest Android smartphone, the new HTC Sensation XL, which is HTC’s second smartphone to come with Beats Audio, now we get a chance to have out first look at the HTC Sensation XL.

The guys over at Android Central have put together a video of the HTC Sensation XL in action, which you can see below, and we also get a good look at the latest version of HTC’s Sense user interface.


The HTC Sensation XL will go on sale in the UK in November, and it comes with a 4.7 inch Super LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels there is also a single core 1.5GHz processor and it comes with Android plus HTC Sense, plus an 8 megapixel camera with an F2.2 lens, a dual LED flash and a BSI sensor, it is capable of recording HD video in 720p.

We have been hearing about the HTC Sensation XL, which was codenamed the HTC Runnymede, for a while now, its official and it comes with a 4.7 inch multi-touch touchscreen Super LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.


Processing is provided by a single core 1.5GHz processor and it comes with Android plus HTC Sense, it also features an 8 megapixel camera with an F2.2 lens, a dual LED flash and a BSI sensor, it is capable of recording HD video in 720p.

The HTC Sensation XL features 16GB of built in storage and 768MB of RAM, plus GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, DLNA and a microUSB port, there is no microSD slot.

This is the second HTC smartphone to be announced with beats audio, and the standard version will come with a pair of beats headphones, there will be a limited edition version that will come with a pair of Beats Solo headphone.

If you are looking forward to the immanent launch of the new Batman: Arkham City game you might be interested to know that a new Robin character DLC is being offered as bonus content at GameStop when you pre-order.


Robin will be a playable character within the  Arkham City campaign and will also come with two unique challenge maps. Watch the gameplay trailer of the Robin DLC character for Batman: Arkham City after the jump to get a feel for his moves and gameplay style. Which looks to be similar to Batman’s, with the exception of his staff.

Yesterday we published an article which said that Microsoft had decided to discontinue the Zune HD, the news came direct from Microsoft themselves, who posted the following statement on a support page.


"We recently announced that, going forward, Windows Phone will be the focus of our mobile music and video strategy, and that we will no longer be producing Zune players. So what does this mean for our current Zune users? Absolutely nothing. Your device will continue to work with Zune services just as it does today. And we will continue to honor the warranties of all devices for both current owners and those who buy our very last devices. Customer service has been, and will remain a top priority for us.”

If you are a Droid3 owner you might be interested to learn that a video was released yesterday showing how CyanogenMod 7 can now boot up on the Droid3 smartphone.


The workings of CyanogenMod 7 on the Droid3 still need to be addresses as most of the functions are still not working correctly but the boot up shows that the CyanogenMod 7 release for the Droid3 devices is definitely getting closer to a full release. Watch the video after the jump to see it in action.


No date has been set for when a fully working CyanogenMod 7 will be fully functional on the Droid3 device. But as always we will keep you updated as more news arrives.

he new Portal 2 DLC ‘Peer Review’ DLC is now available to download for free on PC, Mac, Xbox 360 and PS3 from today. The new Peer Review add-on created by Valve brings with it a new cooperative mode, adding a brand new set of challenges for the two robot protagonists, Atlas and P-body, devised by the main antagonist, GLaDOS.

 

Valve explains:

"In "Peer Review”, you and a friend continue the story of loyal bots P-Body and Atlas as you puzzle your way through a mysterious new co-op test track and once again match wits with GLaDOS. The free DLC also features a single player and co-op Challenge Mode, and leaderboards to compare Challenge Mode scores with friends and the Portal community.”

Within the new Forza 4 is included a fantastic Autovista mode which allows you to explore some of the games luxury sports cars. But also included in the game is Halo’s Warthog vehicle which can be viewed in the same Autovista mode alongside cars like the Bugatti Veyron and Ford GT.


Unfortunately you cant currently drive the Warthog in races only view it in the Autovista mode. Watch the video after the jump to what you can expect once its unlocked.


To enable the Halo Warthog you need to pass challenges, within the game. Once you have completed all of these challenges, around 20 races you’ll then be able to unlock the Warthog.

Yesterday we saw a photo which is reported to be of the new Google Nexus Prime which is being made by Samsung for Google, and we are expecting the Google Nexus Prime to be unveiled at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event later this month.


Now Samsung has released a teaser video for the Google Nexus Prime, and we get a very brief look at the handset from the side, we suspect Samsung may release a few more Nexus Prime teaser videos before it is officially unveiled.

What we have heard so far about the Samsung Google Nexus Prime is that it will will come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and will feature a 4.6 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
