Over the weekend Microsoft rolled out a new design for their Windows 8 operating system, which has now dropped the multicolour design for a single colour.The new Windows 8 operating system that will incorporate the new Metro, tiled navigation interface, has now received its new logo.

Which is reminiscent of Microsoft’s Windows 1.0 logo, and is light blue in colour, rather than multicoloured. providing a fresh,clean and simply logo for the new operating system when it’s officially launched later this year. Even if it does look a little like a flag.

"One small fling for a bird, one quantum leap for birdkind.” Brace yourselves for the newest version of the most-loved game of 2011, Angry Birds Space!, coming this March 2012.


Rovio Entertainment, the company that skyrocketed to fame with its realistic physics bird vs pig game, readies itself for the biggest Angry Birds launch since the release of the original version. It promises of features present in the past versions, but with additional surprises for die-hards and novices alike. Space! will be the fifth Angry Birds game from Rovio, after the original, Seasons, Rio, and Facebook versions.

Dedicated Bioware fans will know Drew Karpyshyn as the writer with a hand in almost all of Bioware’s finest creations for the past decade. The list could start and stop at Baldur’s Gate 2 and it would be enough. But it goes on with both Mass Effects, the original Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire and the Neverwinter Nights series. But as good as those games are, they are always going to be set in someone else’s universe and Drew Karpyshyn seems intent on building his own.

It’s been revealed by Brazilian site Gemind that Microsoft’s new SkyDrive cloud service, will soon be launching applications on both Windows and OS X, and will include paid storage solutions for customers.


The screenshot leaked by Gemind shows and array of options ranging from 20GB, 50GB, or 100GB that will be priced at $10, $25, or $50 per year. Which is very competitive when compared to similar services offering cloud file storage and backup services, such as Dropbox who currently offers $9.99 for 50Gb up to 100GB for $19.99 both on a monthly basis.

Last week HTC announced a number of their Android smartphones would be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update in March, and now HTC has revealed that the update is also headed to some more of their devices.

HTC announced that the HTC Rhyme, HTC Thunderbolt, and the Droid Incredible 2 would be getting the Android 4.0 update, and also said it is headed to the HTC Rezound and HTC Raider.
