We have already seen a leaked photo of Huawei’s new Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Huawei Ascend W1, and now it would appear that Huawei may be getting ready to announce the device.

The news comes from the guys over at Windows Phone Italy, who have been told by a Huawei manager that the company will soon be introducing a new Windows Phone handset.


The Huawei Ascend W1 is rumored to come with a 4 inch WVGA display and will apparently feature a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, plus 512MB of RAM and  4GB of built in storage.

The handset is also rumored to come with a front and rear facing camera, although there are no details on the cameras as yet, plus a 2,000 mAh battery, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.

Brave Robotics has this week announced that their new transforming robot, has now entered its limited production development stage edging closer to an official launch worldwide.

Brave Robotics has designed the new robot to transform from a sports car into a standing robot automatically, and have equipped it with a missile launcher on each arm together with a wireless camera.

The Wi-Fi camera can be viewed on mobile devices such as Apple’s iPad, using the robot’s companion applications. Check out the video below to see the 3-D printed prototype of the finalised design from Brave Robotics in action.

Lenovo has added a new Android smartphone to their range with the launch of the Lenovo P770, the handset comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 4.5 inch IPS qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.

Other specifications on the Lenovo P770 include a 5 megapixel rear facing camera with an LED flash for photos and video and a front facing VGA camera for video chat.

The Lenovo P770 also comes with a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM And 4GB of built in storage, and the handset comes with a massive 3,500 mAh battery, which according to Lenovo will give you up to 29 hours of talk time or  a massive 26 days of standby time.

RIM has announced that their integrated carrier billing in BlackBerry App World is now available with more than 50 mobile carrier, and they also said that the BlackBerry App world is now available in more than 170 countries and there are more than 100,000 applications available to download.

Integrated carrier billing enables a customer to purchase apps or digital goods on their BlackBerry smartphone, and simply and conveniently have the purchases put directly on their regular monthly bill from their carrier. Integrated carrier billing is also integrated with the BlackBerry Payment Service, which enables developers and content providers to offer in-app purchases (such as additional levels in a game), as well as supporting one-off and recurring (subscription-based) purchases, without interrupting the customer’s app experience.

HTC recently released some more information on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for a number of its devices, and now it would appear that HTC has started rolling out the Android Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X, this is for the Tegra 3 powered international version of the device.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X is around 365MB in size, and it is apparently rolling out in the UK, India, Argentina, Russia, Peru, Brazil, and more countries.

This update is not for the AT&T version of the HTC One X, the HTC One XL< the update for this handset is expected within the next few weeks, although no specific date has been given.

The guys from Tokyoflash have launched another geeky timepiece, the Tokyoflash Kisai Polygon LCD watch, and it comes in a choice of black or stainless steel and also comes with a choice of display color, which includes a black, mirror, pink or blue LCD display.

The Sony Xperia T has been available for a while now in the UK, although the device has only been available in black, and now the white version of the Sony Xperia T will be available in the UK next week, this is the SIM free version of the device.


The Sony Xperia T comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 4.6 inch touchscreen display, there is also a dual core 1.5GHz processor and a 13 megapixel camera.

Other specifications on the Sony Xperia T include a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, 16GB of built in storage plus 50GB of free cloud storage.

It would appear that LG may be working on a successor to their LG Optimus G smartphone, the device will apparently be called the LG Optimus G2 and it will feature a full HD display with a resolution of 1902 by 1080 pixels, the display will be 5 inches.


This ties in with the LG device with a 5 inch display and a 1080p resolution that recently appeared in some benchmarks, and the benchmarks also revealed that the device was running Android Jelly Bean and it featured a quad core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor.

LG recently launched their new Optimus G smartphone, which comes with a 4.7 inch display and a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, and according to TechCrunch, the new 5 inch G2 with the full HD display could possibly launch as early as May of 2013.

Anyone looking for a boat which fold up into a flat pack, might be interested in the new Oru Kayak fold up canoe which is now starting its journey over on the Kickstarter website, and has already blasted it way past the $80,000 need to get the project up and running.

The Oru Kayak folds flat in to a pack that can be carried, and then unfolded to create the 12 foot canoe when required. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Oru Kayak project and see it in action.

Each Oru Kayak is engineered of a single sheet of double-layered plastic, the single seam is sealed with a watertight rubber gasket, and Solid ribs are used to provide strength and rigidity.

Some people like to take a minimalist to their desktop. But full sized keyboards and mice take up valuable desk space and if you’re looking for a way to minimize that, this keyboard/touchpad concept might be a good way to go. It was designed by Min Koo Yeo and is called "Inside Out”.
 


It looks like just a keyboard at first glance, but according to the designer, it is meant to serve dual purposes. One side is a keyboard, the other a touchpad, allowing you to interact with it, perform gestures etc.

Having such a large touchpad could come in handy, but having to flip between the keyboard and touchpad could be a pain in the butt.

If you are a little disappointed when the developers of Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 announced the delay of the game’s release until early in 2013. This new gameplay trailer which is being released for the up-and-coming and highly anticipated Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 shows you a glimpse of what you can expect when the game is officially launched.


Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 uses the awesome CryEngine 3 games engine and will be launched on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in January 2013. However a Wii U version of Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 is also rumoured to be under development.

Canadians can breath a sigh of relief if they are among those waiting for the Galaxy camera. They can get the Samsung Galaxy Camera starting December 7th. They can get it at either a local Black’s Photography store or the official Samsung store in Burnaby, BC.


The Canadian model keeps the HSPA+ data found in the AT&T version, but the similarity in networks in the north works to your advantage: a data micro-SIM from any of the larger carriers will be enough for some 3G photo sharing.

We don’t have a Canadian price yet, but it shouldn’t be too far from the $500 US price.

Nokia has added another new mobile phone to their Asha range with the launch of the Nokia Asha 205, which comes with a QWERTY keyboard and a dedicated Facebook button.

 The Nokia Asha 205 features a 2.4 inch display, there is also a VGA camera and a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB microSD cards, plus Bluetooth 2.1, and a choice of two versions one with a standard SIM card slot and one with a dual SIM card slot.
