Anonymous claims to have hacked PayPal’s servers, leaks thousands of passwords online

The hacking group, Anonymous, is up to their usual tricks. As part of the group’s 5th of November protest, they claim to have hacked PayPal’s servers and also claim to have 28,000 customer account passwords that they have leaked online.

This could cause a lot of problems to say the least. The group has posted the list of emails, passwords, names and even telephone numbers. You can check out the list to see if your information is there.

PayPal’s head of PR claims that they are investigating the alleged hack, but so far they are unable to validate any evidence that there has been a security breach. You can always change your password just to be safe.
