Evernote
has this week rolled out a new update to its Windows Phone Evernote
Application, which brings with it a number of new features and
tweaks including, Evernote Business Support, PIN Lock, Styled Text
Support, and more.
The newly added Evernote Business Support for Windows Phone enables
business users to now benefit from the knowledge of their colleagues,
with the ability to create Business Notebooks, which are also fully
searchable and sharable.
Premium Evernote users using Windows
Phone devices are also now able to secure their notes using a PIN lock
that once enabled requires a four digit code to be entered before access
to Evernote documents is granted. To turn on PIN Lock swipe left on the
Setting screen. Once enabled, the Evernote app will lock after 10 minutes of inactivity. Other features include :
Joined Notebooks : All Evernote users will now see notebooks that
they’ve joined in their notebooks list. Whether someone shared a
Personal Notebook with you or a Business Notebook, you’ll be able to
easily view them from your Windows Phone.
Styled Text Support : Editing and creating styled text gets a big
boost in this update. When creating a new note, you’ll see new styling
options beneath the keyboard,
including bulleted and numbered lists. You can now also edit bold and
italic text right in-line—no more section-by-section editing.
