Samsung has announced that their new Samsung SUR40 system, designed
to be used with Microsoft’s Surface, has from today been made available

We have already had a good look at some of the new functions as well
as the new apps in Microsoft’s Windows 8, and now it would appear that
there will be another new feature in Windows 8 when it launches.

spotted something interesting in Windows 8, as you can see in the photo
below there is something called ‘Missed Calls’, which would indicate
that Windows 8 tablets could have the ability to make and receive calls.

Microsoft has announced that its Windows 8 Metro applications will
only be available from their own Windows Store, the official name given
to Microsoft’s apps store.
Following in Apple’s footsteps and taking full control over what will
an won’t be sold in their store. Microsoft director Ted Dworkin
explained that the Windows Store will be used to restrict Metro app
distribution to ensure the software applications are secure and
appropriate.

Last week we saw a couple of different videos which gave us a good
look at Microsoft’s latest version of Windows, Windows 8, and now
Microsoft has released another video which give us a look at apps
running on Windows 8 with their Metro UI.
The video below gives us a look at apps like photos, mail, calendar,
messaging and lots more, as well as some of the built in social
networking features like Facebook integration.

We have already seen some Windows 8 running on the new Samsung Windows 8 Developer tablet, as well as running on an NVIDIA Kal-El tablet, and have even seen it running on an old Asus Eee PC netbook.

Yesterday we got to see a video of Windows 8 running on the new
Windows 8 Developer tablet, the tablet which is produced by Samsung runs
an Intel Core i5 processor.
The video below shows Windows 8 running on an NVIDIA Kal-El tablet,
which features NVIDIA’s new quad core Kal-El processor, and as you can
see from the video below, Windows 8 looks pretty good on the NVIDIA
tablet.
