A number of owners of the Asus Transformer Prime tablet have been reporting issues with the tablet since the release of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Transformer Prime.

Users of the device have been experiencing random lock ups, and there is a thread over at the XDA developers forum where more than 400 users have replied to the issues.

Now it would appear that Asus is working on an update for the Transformer Prime which is expected to resolve the various issues and the company has said that the update will be available in February.

We don’t as yet have a specific date on when the new Transformer Prime update will be released, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
