This week Roccat have launched a new addition to their range of gaming headsets with the launch of the new Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 which builds on their previous gaming headset the Kave 5.1.
The latest Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 comes equipped with its own desktop remote fitted with its own dedicated premium 5.1 sound card.
Other new features on the Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 include a handy
patented technology called Smart Link that allows users to pair their
smartphone device to the Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 remote via Bluetooth. Once
this is done gamers can then answer and make calls without the need to
remove their headset. Roccat explains a little more about their nee
gaming headset.
"The headset comes with a completely reworked head band and,
compared to the original Kave 5.1, weighs 25 percent less,β-βAt the same
time new materials and engineering solutions make the headset very
robust and comfortable to wear β suitable for hours of gaming. The
detachable microphone has been redesigned, keeping smart details like
the mute LED while improving on reliability as well as sound quality.β
The new Roccat Kave XTD 5.1 will be available to purchase from November onwards for around $170 and will feature sport three driver units per earcup aligned at a 12 degree angle.
