Sony has announced a new OLED micro display with comes with a 720p resolution, and the 0.7 inch display as designed to be used as an electronic viewfinder in cameras, like Sony’s NEX range of mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras, and it could also be used in future DSLR’s.

This microdisplay is aimed towards electronic viewfinder (EVF) applications and offers 97% NSTC color gamut, 0.01ms response time and 200 cd/m2 brightness.
