Archos has today announced that their new Android G9 tablet arriving
in September, for a staring price of $300. Will now come with the option
to fit it with a 250GB hybrid drive for additional storage.
The base model Archos G9 tablet
will come equipped with 8GB of storage and include SD card slots to add
additional memory if required. However if you feel the need for even
more storage space, Archos have today announced the addition of a new
option that allows you to upgrade to a 250 GB hybrid drive. Combining a
250GB hard disk drive with a 4GB flash drive.
The new 250GB upgrade option will be
available on both the Archos G9 8-inch and 10-inch models, and will cost
$370 and $470 respectively.
As expected upgrading to the much bigger 250 GB hybrid drive will add
a little extra weight and size to your Archos G9, increasing its weight
from 599g or 755g and increasing its thickness from 14.7mm or 15.6mm.
