Apple didn’t follow their annual upgrade cycle for the iPhone this
year at WWDC 2011, instead the iPhone 5 is expected to launch later in
the year, and we have been hearing rumors over the past few months that
the iPhone 5 would launch in September.
According to a recent report by MacRumors, the iPhone 5 has entered
the final stage of testing, which would indicate that Apple are getting
ready to launch the iPhone 5 within the next few months.
We are expecting Apple to announce the iPhone 5 at the same time as
iOS 5 is made available, when iOS 5 was announced we were told it would
be available in the fall of 2011, which would tie in with the September
iPhone rumors.
Apple usually holds an annnual iPod event in September, so we suspcet
that the iPhone 5 will officially be unveiled them, and will probably
go on sale in September as well.
