Panasonic DY-PS10 Pocket Media Server For iOS Devices

This week Panasonic have introduced a new pocket media server to their range the DY-PS10 which has been created to allow you to push media from a SDXC memory card over a wireless connection to your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

The new Panasonic Pocket Server is compatible with iOS devices and will push media over a Wi-Fi b/g network. When a 64GB DSXC memory card is inserted you can play back up to 88hrs of standard definition video. But you will need to recharge the DY-PS10 a couple of times though, as its internal 1,400 mAh battery will only provide around 10 hours of continual use.

You can either transfer media directly to the card from your other Panasonic gear or attach the DY-PS10 to your computer via USB and transfer data as if it were an external hard drive directly to the card in the device.

The Panasonic DY-PS10 will go on sale on September 15th in Japan, for 14,800 yen around $191, but as yet Panasonic have not released any information on worldwide shipping.
