Skype has removed its iPad app from the Apple App Store, the app was only released yesterday and the company has said that the application was released prematurely, and that they intend to re-release it again shortly.

The announcement came on twitter, and Skype didn’t give an exact reason why the application has been removed, you can see what they had to say about it below.

To ensure your best Skype experience, we’ve temporarily removed Skype for iPad which went live prematurely today.

There are no details on exactly when the Skype iPad app will return to the Apple App Store, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
