Acer has today unveiled its new TravelMate Timeline 8481T notebook which has been designed for road warriors and professionals alike with its thin and lightweight design.

The TravelMate 8481T is powered by a 2nd generation Core i5 processor supported by up to 8GB of RAM. Graphics are handles by the Intel HD 3000 integrated graphics and storage by a 320GB 7200 hard drive.

Other features of the TravelMate Timeline 8481T include a battery that will provide up to 13 hours of battery power, together with Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, a webcam, 1 x USB 3.0 port, a fingerprint reader and WiDi (Wireless Display) support.

The TravelMate Timeline 8481T will be a arriving in the US early next month for around $999
