Rumours are indicating that Intel may be looking to launch its new Ivy Bridge processors
a week earlier than expected. Rather than launching the new Ivy Bridge
CPUs on April 29th as rumoured, its now thought that Intel will be
making an announcement on April 23rd.
The
new Ivy Bridge 22 nm processors will then roll out in notebooks being
developed by Acer, HP and Lenovo shortly after. Some of which have
already been posted onto site and web stores even before the Ivy Bridge
are available. Its also rumoured that Apple might use the new Ivy Bridge processors in its new MacBook Pro systems, that are expected to be announced later this year. The latest MacBook Pro systems are expected to sport a super slim format similar to that of the current MacBook Air. Source: Toms Hardware |
