If you are in the market for a miniature desktop PC you might be
pleased to know that Zotec has this week unveiled a new model in their
popular ZBOX range in the form of the Zotac ZBOX Nano AD10, which
measures just 127mm x 127mm x 45mm.
The mini desktop PC is powered by a AMD "Brazos” E-350 APU Platform with Discrete-Class AMD Radeon HD
6310 graphics and comes complete with a newly added integrated
infra-red receiver with bundled Windows Media Center compatible remote
control, together with a USB IR receiver. Its designed also includes A DDR3 SO-DIMM slot and space for a 2.5-inch SATA 6.0 Gb/s hard drive or a solid state drive (SSD).
Carsten Berger, marketing director at ZOTAC International explains:
"There was a lot of demand for a bundled remote with our mini-PCs
so we listened and engineered a solution that would work for all home
theatre PC installation scenarios,” – "Our dual IR receiver solution
enables use of the remote control with all placements, including hidden
and wall-mounted installations.”
Unfortunately Zotac hasn’t released any information about shipping dates or prices as yet.
