This is another one of those really impressive Lego projects that reaffirms your faith in the ubiquitous blocks. Dubbed the Time twister, this latest build from Hans Andersson is an elaborate timepiece that gives out the time in layers that print the digits. Simply looking at the details gives you an idea of the perfectionism that no doubt played a huge role in this clock’s creation. Check out the video after the jump.

With simplicity at the heart of its design and function, the Murata walking aid’s features are is self-balancing capability further improved by simple controls. Don’t expect to be racing on one though, it’s not like it can support a passenger. It really is meant for an assistance role. A walking aid, alright.

A couple of intrepid tech students, Erich Leeth and Terry Presley have sent their Nikon D300 camera to the edge of space strapped inside a beer cooler that they purchased from Walmart. The duo used a weather balloon to carry their Nikon D300 right to the edges of space and used the beer cooler to protect it from the cold and help return it to earth in one piece.
