Sony has released details of its new $65,000 F65 CineAlta Camera and F65s at $77,000 movie cameras. The new CineAlta digital
motion picture cameras systems, as you can guess have been designed and
created for motion picture professional and provide true 4K resolution
movie capture.
The 4096 x 2160 resolution that
is currently 4 times that of current full HD 1920 x 1080 specifications
and its unique 8K image sensor, with 20 megapixels and 16-bit Linear RAW
file output capability, should provide you with everything you need to
create that next Hollywood blockbuster. If you pockets are deep enough.
The Sony’s flasgship F65s Cinealta camera provides the same
specifications as the cheaper FP65 with additions features including
: 14 stops High Dynamic Range, Rotary shutter model (F65RS); four ND Filter
built-in with rotary shutter, Wi-fi operation for remote control
operation from tablet devices, HD-SDI output with viewing LUT for on-set
monitoring with focus assist zoom and 60 Minutes of 16 bit Linear RAW file recording onto a 1TB SRMemory card at 24FPS.
