Star Trek fans will love the latest invention for the guys over at Think Geek, the Star Trek Door Chime which is designed to replace you standard door bell with something a little more geeky.

The Star Trek door chime is motion sensitive so when someone walks past it our approaches it, the door chime will play one of two sounds, which include the door opening sound from Star Trek and also an alarm sound.

As well as being motion sensitive it works just like a regular door bell, if the button is pressed, an alarm will sound and you will know that one of your friends it as the door.
