Researchers at the University of Bristol have created a bicycle out of nylon that is reported to be as strong as steel, and the bicycle was printed from layers of fused nylon.
The researchers use a technique that is used in the construction of
satellites, and it was designed by Andy Hawkins and Christ Turner at the
Aerospace Innovation Centre at the University of Bristol.
The nylon bicycle is being shown off at the London Design Festival
and you can find out more information on how it was made over at Inhabitat.
