Olympus has today announced that their new Olympus PEN E-PM1 Mini camera is to arrive in stores next month and will be available to purchase for under $500. So if you are looking for an ultra compact camera that Olympus say "Packs Mega Power In A Micro Body” then the new Olympus PEN E-PM1 Mini might be worth more investigation.

The Olympus PEN E-PM1 Mini is equipped with a 12.3 effective Megapixel High Speed Live MOS sensor for excellent low-light performance and Full HD movie recording, together with an ISO 12800 sensitivity, and is equipped with interchangeable lens system.

Other features on the Micro Four Thirds camera include, 1080i Full HD stereo movie recording as AVCHD or Motion JPEG and on the rear its fitted with a 3.0” LCD with 460,000 dot resolution display. Olympus first introduced their new Olympus PEN E-PM1 Mini back in June and when it arrives next month will be available in six colours purple, pink, brown, white, silver and black.
