A new product will be showcased at this years CES show in Vegas
called Perch, which has been designed to help you remember not leave
your charging cables in hotels when travelling. Designed by LPS
the Perch has been created to be inserted between the plug socket and
your charging cable, and will emit an audible beep when your smartphone
or device which has been charging is removed from its charging cable.
Reminding you to make sure you also pack the cable as well as your
device. If it is not yet time to unplug the charger, the beep can be
silenced with the push of a button.
Perch was inspired by reports indicating that hotels recover, on average, one forgotten charger nearly every day. "People
on the go don’t have time to track down a new way to power up,” said
Tedesco. "Perch safeguards the travelers’ ability to stay connected,
accessible and focused.” The new Perch system is expected to
retail for around $10 once launched. But unfortunately no information on
worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as
information comes to light we will keep you updated as always. Source: Gizmo Fusion |
