The Samsung
SUR40 is the next generation Microsoft Surface device, it was announced
last year and went up for pre-order back in November, and the Samsung
SUR40 has now started shipping. The Samsung SUR40 features a 40 inch multi-touch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, which means it is able to handle full high definition content in 1080p.
Other
specifications on the Samsung SUR40 include PixelSense technology,
which is capable of recognizing multiple fingers, hands and objects on
the screen. The multi-touch LCD display can recognize a maximum of
50 different touch points at the same time, and it is powered by an AMD
Athlon X2 2.9GHz dual core processor and also features AMD HD6750M.
The
unit can be purchased as a standalone unit with just the table top,
this will set you back a cool $8,400, if you want the stand then you are
