Sony has this week unveiled their new five piece XDP-PK1000 in car system that allows you to integrate your iOS devices in to your car with ease. The first package includes a cradle for iPhone, card remote, Digital Sound Processor Master Unit, 12 inch box subwoofer, and Class D Mono Block Amplifier.

But don’t worry if you already have a amplifier and subwoofer installed in your car. As Sony has also released a cut down version, the XDP-MU110 which includes a cradle for iPhone, Digital Sound Processor Master Unit and card remote, for a slimmed down price.

The system enables you to adjustment of time alignment, equalisation and crossover points together with three multi-position switches to adjust DSP parameters for 18 types of vehicles. Making sure you have your audio setup perfectly tuned for your cars interior and the best sound possible.

Sony explains : "Bass response is increased with the 300 watt Class D amp and sealed 12 inch subwoofer enclosure. The Class D amp is highly efficient, converting about 90% of incoming power into output to the speakers.”

The 5 piece XDP-PK1000 kit, will be available in September 2011, for $799 and the 3 piece XDP-MU110 kit will be available in November 2011 for $399
