If you are in the market for a soundbar you might be interested to
know that Yamaha have unveiled their latest soundbar creation in the
form of the Yamaha YAS-101 which is also currently Yamaha’s cheapest.
The 120 watt Yamaha YAS-101 is equipped with a virtual 7.1-channel
sound field from two 2.5-inch cone speakers, together with an integrated
60-watt subwoofer consisting two 3-inch drivers and combined with Dolby
Digital/DTS 5.1 and DTS ES 6.1 surround-sound decoders.
The Yamaha YAS-101
also features UniVolume technology, which enables you to maintain a
consistent volume when you switch between connected video sources and
even when adverts are shown. The bar measures 35 x 4.25 x 4.74 inches
and comes with stands and brackets to suite your home entertainment
setup by either wall mounting or standing the Yamaha YAS-101 in front of
your system.
