Amazon has officially launched its first Android tablet, the Amazon Kindle Fire, and it will come with a 7 inch IPS touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass, and it features a dual core processor.

We featured the iLuv ArtStation Pro tablet docking station back in July and following on from that device, this week iLuv has unveiled a new flagship tablet dock which is definitely worth a look if you would prefer to use your iPad in a similar way to a desktop PC.

A new Air Voltage Wireless induction charger for the iPad 2 has been unveiled in Japan by Hitachi Maxell, in co-operation with Murata. Which combines a charging jacket which fits on to your iPad 2 and a charging dock that enables you to charge your iPad 2 battery without the need to plug it in.

Toshiba has added another tablet to its Thrive range of Android tablets, the latest one comes with a 7 inch display  which features a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, plus it comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

Samsung announced its latest Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, when it was announced we weren’t sure if it would be heading to the US, but now it looks like it is as it has appeared at the FCC.

We have already seen NVIDIA’s new Kal-El processor in action, but now it would appear that we have the first actual consumer tablet which features the new quad core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, the ZTE T98.

It looks like Asus has added another Android tablet to its range with the launch of the Asus Tough, which is designed to be water and dust proof as well as shock proof, and it will come with Android Honeycomb 3.2.

Amazon is holding a special event tomorrow, Wednesday the 28th of September, where the company is expected to unveil their new Android tablet, and now according to TechCrunch, the Amazon tablet will be called the Amazon Kindle Fire.
