If you have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet, you will be pleased to know that the new tablet is now available to purchase from the Lenovo website, starting from $499.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet has been designed with business users in mind and is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 Dual-Core 1GHz processor and is equipped with a 10.1” WXGA (1280×800) 16:10 IPS panel with Corning Gorilla Glass for extra strength and protection. Watch a video of the new Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet in action after the jump.

On a full charge the tablet is capable of running for 8 hours continuously and includes a HDMI output for presentations and fully supports Adobe Flash. Its also equipped with a both USB 2.0 and micro-USB ports and has an integrated cloud sharing and storage facility to easily help you move large files between team members and offices when required.
