OCOSMOS have today announced that their new OCOSMOS OCS9 Windows 7
tablet will now be shipping in early December and is now available tp
pre-order in the United States. The OCOSMOS OCS9 tablet has been billed
as the thinnest Windows 7 tablet currently available on the market and
comes equipped with a 10.1 inch touchscreen display, with a resolution
of 1280 x 800.
It’s powered by a 1.5GHz Oak Trail Atom Z670 processor supported by
2GB of RAM, together with a choice of either 16 GB or 32 GB of on-board
flash storage. It also comes with an optional LCD screen remote control
called the Smart O-Bar.
The Smart O-Bar is equipped with a
3.5-inch 320 x 480 resolution LCD screen, together with a gyroscope and
accelerometer and connects to the Windows
7 tablet via Wi-Fi. It can be used as a number of different peripherals
in conjunction with the tablet, such as a keyboard, mouse, games
controller or even a VoIP phone handset.
The system
also allows you to stream multimedia content from the main OCS9 Windows
7 tablet down to the Smart O-Bar remote control handset if required,
and there is also an optional HDMI docking station available which
provides USB ports and an ethernet connection.
