If you are a Google+ social network user and would like to be kept updated on whats happening within your Google+ stream. A new Windows 7 gadget has been created by Kalamon Software that will allow you to add your Google+ stream to your Windows desktop with ease.

Once installed and your logged in you can then let the G+7 software keep you updated at all times and because it is a Windows 7 gadget you can move it around your desktop to suit your needs.


If you see something of interest in your stream simply click it to bring it up in a new window to the side as above, then click it again if you need to open it in a browser.

G+7 is now free to download and available to all Window 7 users, from the Kalamon Software website.

Motorola has recently released the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Motorola Droid 2 and the Droid 2 global, and now it looks like a Gingerbread update is in the works for the Star Wars themed Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 edition.

There are no details as yet on when the Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Edition will get the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update, as this has yet to be confirmed by Motorola.


As soon as we get more information on when Motorola will be releasing Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the Star Wars themed R2-D2 Motorola Droid 2 we will let you guys know.

If you have been looking forward to playing the new Assassin Creed: Revelations game and are a member of Sony’s PSN you will be pleased to know that as of tomorrow from 10am PST the beta will open up to all PSN gamers and will run until September 11th, 2011.

The PSN beta version of Assassin’s Creed Revelations Multiplayer features nine characters :The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion.

 


Its playable across three maps the Knight’s Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople, via four different playable modes Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault. Eight abilities are available in the Beta, but only some of them are usable from the outset. Others must be unlocked by increasing your rank.

Adobe has been finalising their new Flash Player 11 since its beta launch back in July, but Adobe has this week edged a little closer to launching its final build by rolling out another release candidate for its Flash Player 11 this week. In the attempt to try and keep its Flash product relevant in a world where its banned from iOS devices and struggling to make it mark on Android devices.


Adobe is taking a different direction with their latest Flash Player 11 aiming it at gaming, high-end video, and in-house company applications. Now including 64Bit support and JPEG XR image support which offers better compression than conventional JPEG images and which is now an international standard.

The other day we heard about a new Android smartphone from Samsung which is headed to Verizon’s 4G LTE network, the Samsung Stratosphere LTE, and now the device has just passed through the FCC which should mean that we will get an official announcement from Samsung and Verizon shortly.

the Samsung Stratosphere features a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and is rumored to come with a 4 inch Super AMOLED display plus a single core 1GHz processor.


Other specifications we have heard for the Samsung Stratosphere include a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera and a rear 5 megapixel camera, plus a microSD card slot and 2GB of built in storage.

HTC recently announced their first Windows Phone 7 Mano devices, one of those was the new HTC Radar, and the company has now released a new teaser video for the device, which you can see below.


The HTC Radar will come with Windows Phone Mango 7.5 and it features a 3.8 inch multi-touch

touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a single core 1GHz

 processor and it comes with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage.

Other features on the HTC Radar include a 5 megapixel camera with an F2.2 lens, LED flash and a BSI

sensor, on the front there is a VGA camera for video chat, and it comes with 3G, GPRS, EDGE and 802.11

b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth.

The HTC Radar is expected to go on sale in Europe on the first of October for 399 Euros.

In a recent  interview Blizzard has revealed that they are ” very close” to launching a public beta for the highly anticipated Diablo 3 game. You can also expect a wave of new reports and details about the new Diablo 3 game as current testers will soon be able to reveal their thoughts and be free to show, share, or talk about any portion of the content they have access, as the beta test will not confidential, explains Blizzard to the VG247 gaming website.

Sony has unveiled pricing details about its new HMZ-T1 Personal 3D Viewer headset which is equipped with two OLED panels with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and equipped with full 3D support, allowing you to enjoy both 2D and 3D media.


When worn the Sony HMZ-T1 has been designed to provide the equivalent of a 750-inch screen viewed from 20m away and is equipped with 5.1-channel virtual surround sound. The virtual screen has been designed to be wider than most peoples field of vision to create a more immersive experience explains Sony.

Sony has also created 45 degree optical lenses that have been created especially for the headset to minimise the 3D crosstalk which Sony now says is practically zero thanks to the new lens. It looks like LG has a new Android smartphone to add it its Optimus range, called the LG Optimus Note, this new Android smartphone features a slide out Qwerty keyboard and will be powered by a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

The LG Optimus Note features a 4 inch WVGA multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and processing is provided by a dual core 1.2GHz Tegra 2 processor.


Other specifications on the LG Optimus Note include a front facing VGA camera for video chat and a rear facing 5 megapixel camera for video and photos with an LED flash, it also comes with 8GB of build in storage, plus a microSD card slot and WiFi Direct.

It looks like Nike may have something new to announced today, according to Matt Halfhill from Nike Kicks, who received an invitation from to a special event where they will unveil a new product.

Maingear is a small computer builder that tends to focus on enthusiast gaming machines. The company has been selling a series of more compact gaming rigs for a long time now called Vybe. Those Vybe gaming machines have now been updated with a new chassis and new hardware on the inside.


The new chassis will hold a full ATX mainboard inside and all of the machines get a No-Fail guarantee. Maingear is also now offering three pre-configured systems that ship quickly. One of the machines will ship the same day you order in most cases. The Vybe S is the same day shipping unit and it has an Intel Core i5 processor overclocked to 3.3GHz inside.
