Sony has announced another new Android smartphone that is headed to Japan, the Sony Xperia VL which will be available with Japan’s KDDI, the device will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Sony Xperia VL features a 4.3 inch HD Reality Display with Sony’s Mobile Bravia Engine 2, it also comes with a 13 megapixel camera and a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, have a look at the specifications below.

We have been hearing rumors that Google’s next Nexus smartphone will either be from LG or Samsung, and then yesterday we heard that Google may be releasing multiple Nexus devices from different manufacturers.

LG’s Nexus handset is rumored to be called the LG Nexus 4, and now according to a recent report HTC will also be releasing a Nexus device, which will apparently be called the HTC Nexus 5.


The HTC Nexus 5 is rumored to come with a 5 inch display, and it could possibly share similar specifications to the new HTC Butterfly J which was announced yesterday.

Google are holding an Android event later this month, and we could see a range of new Nexus devices announced at this event, as soon as we get some more details we will let you guys know.

It looks like Acer’s Iconia Tab A110 tablet will shortly go on sale in the US, as Acer have announced that their 7 inch tablet will be available from the 30th of October for around $229.


The Acer Iconia Tab A110 will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it comes with a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, processing is provided by a quad core 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.

Other specifications on the Acer Iconia Tab A110 include a front facing 2 megapixel camera, 8GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot, micro HDMI, USB 2.0, WiFi and Bluetooth.

In a surprising reveal Toyota has unveiled a concept skateboard prototype which is equipped with a Microsoft Kinect motion sensing camera and a Windows 8 tablet.

The new concept has been created by Toyota to demonstrate the technology that the car manufacturer may possibly be integrating into its vehicles in the future.


Using the Kinect camera and Windows 8 tablet riders can control the speed of the skateboard by the motor using just hand gestures ,and movements in front of the Kinect motion sensor.

The Hiapad Hi-802 is one of the first Android TV mini stick PCs to be equipped with a powerful quad-core processor, being powered by a Freescale i.MX6 quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 chip supported by 1GB of RAM.

Other features of the new Hiapad Hi-802 mini PC include Bluetooth and 802.11n WiFi connectivity, together with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
