As well as unveiling their new Amazon Kindle Fire Android Tablet and Amazon Kindle Touch And Touch 3G.
Amazon have also unveiled their new Silk browser designed to be used on
their new devices which will provide a much more accelerated internet
experience on their new Kindle Fire.
Amazon’s Silk Browser has been designed to use a combination
of caching and compressing together with other technologies to bring the
latest stored version of common files directly to your new Amazon Fire
tablet. Watch the video after the jump to find out more.
For example a 3MB online may be
compressed down to 50KB before it’s sent to your Kindle Fire, providing
you with shorter waiting times, faster load times and less bandwidth
consumption. Amazons Silk browser will also aggregate the motion of
other users in order to predict your next move, helping it pre-load
whatever you might click on next.
Even with the new advances in its browser Amazon says that their silk
browser will remain as easy to use as a traditional browser on their
new Amazon Kindle Fire.
