Microsoft’s Windows Phone Market Place has hit a new milestone,
according to a recent report there are now more than 50,000 apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace. According to All About Windows Phone,
17,276 apps have been added to the marketplace in the last 90 days and a
total of 8,010 apps have been added in the last 30 days.
It
took Microsoft just over a year to reach the 40,000 apps milestone, and
just 40 days to add the last 10,000 apps, which shows that the Windows
Phone Marketplace is growing steadily. Microsoft is still along way off both Apple’s iOS app store and Google Android Market, we suspect it could take them some time to catch up. Source Techmeme
