It has been a few months since Apple released the Haswell powered Macbook Air. However, there were no details about the Macbook Pros,
powered by Intel’s Haswell chip. A new report has emerged from Chinese
shores that claims the new Retina Macbook Pros powered by Haswell chip
wont ship until October. A few analysts also report that the upgraded
Macbooks will be launched before September ends.

Angry Birds fans using a Windows Phone handset have some good news
today. Angry Birds Rio is now available from the Windows Phone Store.
The game has 210 levels and 40 bonus stages.
That should be enough to keep you busy for awhile. The game is a tie-in
to the animated RIO movie and is priced at just 99 cents in the Windows
Phone Store. The game is getting some high reviews from players so far.
People like it.
Both Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 users have been able to download and play some of the other specially themed Angry Birds games like Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Space already. Eventually, Angry Birds Friends

According to a recent report by reserved firm Canalys, there we over
300 million smart devices shipped in the first quarter of 2013, which is
apparently up 37.4 percent for the same quarter in 2012.
Canalys also revealed some details on the percentage share of those
300 million devices by operating system, and according to the report
59.5 percent of those 300 million devices used Google’s Android OS.
‘Despite its slowing growth, Apple still shipped over 37 million iPhones,’
said Pete Cunningham, Canalys Principal Analyst. ‘But HTC and Samsung
have raised the bar with their latest handsets and Apple needs to

RunKeeper has launched a new Pebble smartphone application this week, which is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, and has been designed to turn your Prebble smartwatch into a personal trainer.
The RunKeeper application enables you to control the smartphone apps
from your Pebble, so you can leave your phone in your pocket during a
workout. The Pebble smartwatch then displays information such as pace,
mileage, starting and stopping times on your wrist.

Apple has now added a new storage option to its iMac range, you can now choose to add in either a 256GB slfah storage drive or a 512GB flash storage drive, and prices are $300 for the 256GB version and $600 for the 512GB version.
The 21.5 inch iMac did not have this option before, you could only choose a standard hard drive of an optional Fusion Drive which is made up of a 128GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive.
On the 27 inch iMac a flash storage option was available previously,
although only in the form of a 768GB SSD, which came with a rather large
$900 upgrade fee.

Archos has today unveiled a new addition to their range of iPad accessories with the unveiling of their new ultrathin Bluetooth keyboard designed for Apple’s iPad.
The Ultrathin iPad Keyboard measures just 5mm thick and weighs 240g, making it the thinnest and lightest keyboard available, and when it attached to your ipad for storage and protection it measures just 13.4mm thick, says Archos.
The Archos Ultrathin Keyboard for iPad has been deigned to include a

Today Amazon has announced that its will be acquiring Ivona, the
text-to-speech specialists that currently offers offers voice and
language portfolios with 44 voices in 17 languages and more in
development.
Ivona has already been helping Amazon develop speech features for
its Kindle Fire, including Text-to-Speech, Voice Guide and Explore by
Touch, and with Amazon acquiring Ivona you can only expect development
to be ramped up for Amazon’s device.
