Apple Mac systems
have never really been thought of as gaming machines or been at the
front of the queue for new game release. But you never know with Apple
slowly making ground into these areas one day the Mac system might see
games released for them on lunch day, just don’t expect it any day soon.
Until that day Mac owners have to suffice with the range of games
that are currently available, and recently some good great games have
been available to play directly on Mac OS X machines. Such as TF2 and a
number of Steam games including Assassin’s Creed.

I’m a sucker for movies with catastrophes such as alien invasions,
zombies, and plagues that wipe out the vast majority of people on the
planet. I find it very curious, and disturbing, to think about what the
world would be like for the remaining people. A new videogame is coming from Naughty Dog called The Last of Us that is exactly the sort of game I like.
The
screenshots have a bit of the feel that Fallout offered. The characters
roam a mostly deserted land looking for weapons and trying to survive
while they fend off crazed survivors. The players have to fight using

It looks like Sprint will be getting a number of new smartphones this
year that will be compatible with Google’s contact less payment system,
Google Wallet, a couple of those devices will be the LG Viper and the
Samsung Galaxy Nexus A total of ten new devices
which will work with Google Wallet will launch on US carrier Sprint
before the end of 2012, although we don’t have details on all of them we
do have some information on the LG Viper.

1.2GHz processor and it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.<

Earlier this week Microsoft released the first Consumer Preview of
Windows 8, and now we have some more information on Microsoft’s next generation operating system. It looks like there will be a total of nine different versions of Windows 8 available, which include a couple of versions of the basic, home, professional and enterprise editions.
The

Preview, and include Windows 8 Starter, Windows 8 Home Basic, Windows 8

Earlier this week at Mobile World Congress Nokia announced that they
would be releasing a European version of the Nokia Lumia 900, and now
the device is availabl;e to pre-order here in the UK. One online
retailer has listed the Nokia Lumia 900 to pre-order for £528 including
taxes, although there doesn’t seem to be an actual launch date as ye,
all we know is that it will be available some time in quarter two,
although one other retailer did tell us earlier in the week that the handset would be available for around £445 including taxes.

As well as confirming that their new Assassin’s Creed 3 game will be
set during the period of the American Revolution. Ubisoft have also this
week released a new video and a handful of screen shots for their up
coming new Ghost Recon FPS game.
The new Ghost Recon Future Soldier video
trailer takes a look at the weapons and gadgets you will be using
during the game and shows how they will help you accomplish your
missions. Including flying drones and magnetic sensor packages. Watch

Yesterday leaked images of posters for the marketing of the new Assassin’s Creed 3 game showed us a possible glimpse of the new game being set during the American Revolution.
Well, today Ubisoft have now confirmed that their new game will take place during that time period and new game covers released to back up Ubisoft’s announcement, show our assassin dealing out a little hurt during the American revolution.

It may just be a consumer preview, but Windows 8 is proving to be a
much anticipated operating system with a million downloads on the first
day of its release.
The number of downloads is not exactly record-shattering but it clearly shows that many are looking forward to try out the new OS that will soon find its way into future devices, especially tablets.
Expect many feedback in the coming days as more people install the
consumer preview. Early reviews have generally given Windows 8 a thumbs up,
but the final verdict will of course come from the millions of
consumers as they give Windows 8
