Galaxy Nexus Update Solves Signal Loss

Google and Samsung have now solved a problem with sudden signal drops on the Galaxy Nexus. A minor update to Android 4.0.4, IMM76I, solves the issue and gives the phone consistent performance once again. Some owners have pointed to another fix on the lock screen when automatic brightness is on as well.

The update will be rolled out gradually over the air for those with a HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus. Verizon owners are still on 4.0.2 will have to wait for the update, though you may not need it. We aren’t sure if Sprint owners have the problem at all.

This is great news for those who have been suffering with signal loss though. You want your phone to work properly after all. That’s not too much to ask.
