The guys over at Engadget have obtained some information on a number
of new smartphones which are headed to US mobile carrier Sprint, and the
devices include the Samsung Epic 4G Touch, which is a Samsung Galaxy S II.
Next up is the HTC EVO Design 4G, which is Sprint’s version of the HTC Kingdom, and finally there is the new Motorola Admiral, although there are no details as yet on exactly which device the Motorola Admiral is.
As soon as we get some more information on each of these new smartphones
headed to Sprint, as well as some pricing and launch dates we will let
you guys know.

Google has update their YouTube App for Android, the latest version
comes with a range of bug fixes, performance improvements and also some
new features which now give you the ability to edit titles on previously
uploaded videos, plus descriptions and also edit the privacy setting.
You can now also post comments direct to YouTube from within the app,
and also see new videos from your subscriptions on the main screen.
The YouTube Android app is available as a free download from the Android Market.

HTC and AT&T have released an OTA update for the HTC Inspire 4G, and the update brings a range of new features to the Inspire 4G, which included an updated application tray, updated FriendStream features, improved power management and much more.
The update is being released as an over the air (OTA) update, if you
haven’t received it yet you can get it by going to
"Home>Menu>Settings>AT&T Software Update>HTC Wi-Fi
software update>Check now” from your handset.
This update will only be available for AT&T HTC Inspire 4G
Customers and will be sent to the device over the air. Once the release

Back in June HTC announced that it would be creating a new Android SDK for developers to make custom applications which make use of HTC’s Sense user interface, HTC Sense 3.0.
HTC has now released the OpenSense SDK, which is designed to help
developers create custom applications that will work with HTC’s
customized version of Android that comes with HTC Sense on their
devices.
Developers now have access to a number of different tools which will
allow them to create applications using the OpenSense platform, you can

According to the guys over at the BGR, RIM’s first QNX
smartphone will be the BlackBerry Colt and it is expected to launch in
quarter one of 2012, and the device is apparently undergoing internal
testing at the moment, with a single core processor.
It could be possible that the BlackBerry Colt will launch with a dual
core processor when it hits the stores next year, as RIM is also
working on dual core QNX smartphones.
There really aren’t many other details on the device at the moment,
as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.

Last week RIM announced its latest BlackBerry smartphones, one of those was the new BlackBerry Bold 9900, and Vodafone just dropped us an email to let us know that they now have the BlackBerry Bold 9900 up for pre-order.
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 features a 2.8 inch touchscreen display and a
QWERTY keyboard, processing is provided by a 1.2GHz processor and it
also features a 5 megapixel camera.
Other specifications on the BlackBerry Bold 9900 include WiFi, Bluetooth and voice activated dialing.
Vodafone haven’t given an exact launch date, although the
representative we spoke to said it should be available later this month
some time between the 15th and 20th of August.

Some of our readers will remember the new Samsung Conquer 4G
that Samsung and Sprint announced back in June, we now have some more
details and it will go on sale from the 21st of August in the US for
$100.
To get the Conquer 4G for $100 you will have to sign up for a new two
year contract with Sprint, and the device comes with Android 2.3
Gingerbread and features a 3.5 inch touchscreen display with a
resolution of 320 x 480 pixels.
Other specifications on the Samsung Conquer 4G include a single core
Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, a 1.3 megapixel camera up front and a 3.2

Apple recently announced its pricing plans for its new iCloud
service, which will replace Apple’s MobileMe service, and new users of
the iCloud service will get 5GB of storage for free.
If you want to purchase additional storage for iCloud,
an extra 20GB of storage will cost you $40 per year, good news for
existing MobileMe users, as they will get the extra 20GB of storage for
free if they migrate their MobileMe account to iCloud.
Of course they wont get the storage for ever, and they will get the
free storage until June 2012, after this previous MobileMe users will
have to pay Apple the $40 per year like everyone else.

Prices for Apple’s entry level model iMac start at $1,199, for this you get a 21.5 inch display and a quad core Intel i5 processor plus 4GB of RAM, now according to a recent report Apple will be launching a sub $1,000 iMac aimed at the education market.
The new lower priced iMac is reported to come with the same 21.5 inch
display as the existing model and will probably come with a dual core
processor and 2GB of RAM plus a 250GB hard drive plus AMD Radeon HD 6570M graphics with 256MB of RAM.
The sub $1,000 iMac would also appeal to consumers as well as the
education market, although education customers would pay less that the
$1,000 price tag as they get a discount of the retail price, according
