Apple has today rolled out support within its App Store for eight more currencies, which includes the Russian Ruble, Turkey’s Lire, India’s Rupee, Indonesia’s Rupiah, Israel’s New Shekel, Saudi Arabia’s Riyal, South Africa’s Rand, and United Arab Emirates’ Dirham.

Previously these unsupported currencies would have had to make payments in US dollars rather than their local currency, download free applications or jailbreak their devices to acquire apps by illegal means.

With the addition of the new support currencies within the Apple App Store, developers will now be able to create and benefit from localised apps created for the specific countries listed.

Its Friday again and the fourth instalment of the Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn live-action action series has been released to help you through the day.

The new instalment adds another 15 minutes of live-action to the story and can be viewed after the jump together with the first three episodes if you haven’t had the chance to see any.

The new Assassin’s Creed III game is set before, during and after the American Revolution from 1753 to 1783, and will feature a new protagonist, Ratonhnhaké:ton.

Ubisoft has today released a new interactive trailer for their upcoming Assassin’s Creed 3 game, which allows you to select which direction and actions Ratonhnhaké:ton carries out within the movie.

A new TV trailer for the upcoming premier of The Hobbit movie,  currently in production and arriving in theatres on 14th December 2012 has been released this week.



Providing fans with a little more to whet their appetites on before the big premier of the trilogy later this year, and will star Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield, and Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug.

We already know that Bethesda’s Skyrim is an amazing success. Many of us have logged countless hours in the game. But did you know that it is so popular that Rice University in Houston, Texas, has launched a one-time course based on it? It is called the "Scandanavian Fantasy World: Old Norse Sagas and Skyrim” and it is a one-time course that will run for one semester, offered by the Department of English.

With the launch of Nintendo’s Wii U console edging closer, the company has now started rolling out TV advertising, and has released its first Wii U TV advert over the weekend, in the UK.

The new Nintendo Wii U advertisement seems to be targeted at a certain gaming market, and announces in the first few seconds that the Wii U is a "brand new console with a brand new controller.”

During the minute long TV commercial Nintendo unveils what is possible using their new Wii U controller, which isn’t available on other gaming consoles, and provides a glimpse at some of the games that will be available when it arrives later this year.

Rovio will release the next installment in their Angry Birds series next month, Angry Birds Star Wars, we have already seen one teaser trailer for Angry Birds Star Wars and now Rovio has released another.


This one features an Angry Birds themed Stormtrooper, have a look at the video below, the game will be released on the 8th of November, and will be available on Android and iOS.


As soon as we get some actual game play of Angry Birds Star Wars we will let you guys know.
