Tactical Intervention the game which is currently being created by the co-creator of Counter-Strike Minh Le, has this week ramped up its marketing in preparation for whats thought to be a spring 2012 launch.

Launching their very own SETI program is probably the one thing Bioware wasn’t doing these days with an MMO, RTS and now 3rd person shooter in the oven, but that oversight is now being addressed. Copies of Mass Effect 3 will reportedly be sent into space using weather balloons.

Just to make this clear, Bioware is using the devices most commonly mistaken for alien spacecraft to launch a game about aliens destroying and/or having sex with humans towards the place where aliens would be if there were any. I’m pretty sure Bioware just broke irony.

Following the leak of a video yesterday on a German website revealing the launch date for the new Far Cry 3 game would be in September. Ubisoft has wasted no time releasing a launch trailer to confirm the news that Far Cry 3 will officially be arriving on September 7th, and is now available to pre-order. Ubisoft has been busy today and as well as confirming the launch date for its new Far Cry 3 game has also announced that the new Assassin’s Creed 3 game will be arriving on October 30th 2012, for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, and possibly the new Nintendo Wii U when it arrives.

In November last year Ubisoft confirmed that a new Assassin’s Creed 3 game would be arriving in 2012, but confirming its release, has now brought smiles to the faces of Creed fans worldwide.

As you can expect over the new few months there is going to be a flood of new Skyrim mods appearing for the new Bethesda game now that they have launched the Creation Kit software on Steam.

If you don’t already know, the Creation Kit software enables you to make your own custom mod scripts which can be used within the Skyrim game, and has already produced a number of useful and not use useful but very funny modifications since its release.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is the fourth instalment (excluding expansions) in the Ghost Recon series, Which was previously known as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon 4. The new Ghost Recon: Future Soldier game is currently under development and will be published by Ubisoft in May 2012.

Valve hasn’t wasted any time trying out the new Skyrim Creative Kit launched by Bethesda earlier this week, and has created its very own Portal 2 Space Core Skyrim mod. The new modification drops a little Spaxe Core robot out o f the sky directly into your Skyrim game. In an interview with GamerZines Mass Effect 3 Associate Producer Mike Gamble, suggested that more Mass Effect games could be on the way. Saying that gamers who will be playing the new Mass Effect 3 game shortly to be released, should keep a copy of their save game just in case.

The hint could be towards additional DLC, but seems seams very likely anyway, and even though Mass Effect 3 is the end of Shepard’s story. Another instalment in the popular series is probably more likely.
