Sony Pictures has this week released a new video for their upcoming fifth title in the Resident Evil
movie series, Resident Evil Retribution. The new full length trailer
shows a glimpse of what we can expect from the new movie when it arrives
later this year on September 14th. Resident Evil: Retribution,
will star Milla Jovovich as Alice and star Michelle Rodriguez and Sienna

Any first person shooter
gamers that might be interested in taking part in setting a new world
record. Will be interested to learn that the Swedish non-profit company
MuchDifferent, who is dedicated to the development of over-the-top
technology. Is planning to organise a game of "Man vs Machine” that will
include 1000 FPS gamers on January 29 at 4.00 Central European Time.
The setup that will be used to run the game will consist of eight
single threaded servers running Unity, which is the development platform
and game engine for browsers that will be powering the FPS game.

Gamers interested in giving BioWare’s Mass Effect 3 game a play

Sega has announced the release date for its official Olympic 2012 video game today, that will support both Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Kinect device and Sony’s PlayStation 3 motion controllers. The
new motion controls will be available to use in a number of sporting
events within the game including 110m Hurdles, Beach Volleyball (Kinect
only) and 25m Rapid Fire Pistol (Move only).

The first Indie funded game called Q.U.B.E developed by Toxic Games
has announce that in just its first four days, its been able to sell
over 12,000 copies and pay back the full investment amount back to Indie Fund.
Toxic GAmes first introduced Indie Fund to heir Q.U.B.E. game in late
August of 2010 with an estimated budget of $42k. Indie Fund approved
the game for funding about 2 months later. Last week the new Q.U.B.E
game was launched on to Steam and has had an impressive start.

TRAKTOR has this week unveiled a new DJ
station which it says shows a glimpse of the future products that you
can expect from TRAKTOR. The new DJ station provides a unique solution
tying together both digital and analog mixing. Watch a sneak peek of the

The new Mass Effect 3 game will be the third and final in the series,
will be arriving in just two months time, and is currently being
developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts.

provide a much more emotive experience for players. Deepening the
characters within the games and providing characters with a more human

A new devices has been unveiled which has been created to combine both traditional board games
with digital elements to make traditional gaming more interactive. The
device pictured below is not a tablet or touchscreen, but uses gaming
figures. Which is recognises and interacts with.
The ePawn Arena has been designed for Dungeons and Dragons style games and in the demo experienced by DVICE, figurines placed on the Arena can interact with each other. Watch the unique ePawn Arena in action after the break.
Whilst playing one figurines are able to attack one another with
weapons and magic spells, and if a map is programmed with "walls” the
attacking figurine’s spells will be blocked and no effects will be

The trailer for the third Batman film
in the series "The Dark Knight Rises” has broken Apple’s iTunes
download record. Reaching a massive 12.5 million downloads in just 24
hours.
The new Dark Knight Rises
is set eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist
leader Bane arrives
in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to
their limits. Forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking

Last article is the next generation PlayStation lunching in 18 months
Over the last few years, many would agree that nothing of real
awesomeness was seen at E3 in LA. The games were cool, but the hardware
was lacking for the most part. That may all change in 2012. E3 2012 is
shaping up to be one of the biggest shows it has had in years.

rumors are pointing to Sony getting ready to offer up new details at
the show on the next generation PlayStation. At the same time, Microsoft
