We recently heard that Samsung would be launching a new version of their Galaxy S III mini smartphone, the only difference between this new model and the existing model is that it will feature NFC.
The Samsung Galaxy S3
Mini with NFC was rumored to launch before the end of January and now
it would appear that the device will be made available in the UK before
the end of the month.
The Samsung Galaxy S
III Mini with NFC will feature a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display with
a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it is powered by a dual core 1GHz
processor and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

It looks like Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to the international Galaxy S II in Europe, and Spain is the first country to get the update with an OTA update being rolled out today.
The Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is being rolled out as an OTA
update and will also be available through Samsung’s Kies software
updating tool, it is being rolled out in stages.

Nokia
launched the Lumia 510 in India back in October of last year, and now
it looks like this budget Windows Phone smartphone is headed to the UK,
as the device recently appeared on a UK retailers website.
The Nokia Lumia 510 was listed on Phones 4U’s website, in their
coming soon section, although the device has now been removed from the
retailers website.
The Nokia Lumia 510 features a 4 inch WVGA multi-touch display with a
resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, processing is provided by an 800MHz processor and the device also comes with 256MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage.

One of the new Android devices that we are expecting to see at Mobile
World Congress next month is the new flagship smartphone from HTC, the
HTC M7, and now it would appear that the device is headed to at least
three of the four major mobile carriers in the US.
According to @evleaks, the
HTC M7 will be headed to Verizon Wireless, Sprint and AT&T, although
it is not clear as yet whether the device will also be headed to
T-Mobile.
The HTC M7 is rumored to features a 4.7 inch full HD display with a
resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device will be powered by a 1.7GHz
quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and will also feature 2GB of RAM

Google’s Nexus 4 smartphone has been in short supply since the
handset launched last year, it is still sold out at Google’s Play Store,
but now it looks like the device is back in stock with US mobile carrier T-Mobile.
Google are selling the Nexus 4 SIM free from Google Play for $349 ,
but the device is not in stock and hasn’t been for some time, T-Mobile
now have the device in stock and it will retail for $199.99 when you
sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier.
The Google Nexus 4 comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean,
and features a 4.7 inch WXGA display with a resolution of 1280 x 768
pixels, processing is provided by a quad core 1.5GH Qualcomm Snapdragon
S4 processor.

Huawei are expected to announce a number if new smartphones at this years Mobile World Congress, which takes place in Barcelona next month from the the 24th to the 28th of February.
Huawei has now announced that they will be holding their MWC 2013
press conference on Sunday the 24th of February, the day before MWC
kicks off.
Huawei recently announced a number of interesting devices at CES and
also over the last week or so, we are looking forward to seeing what
smartphones will be launched at MWC.

Some of our readers will remember the Google Nexus Q that was announced at last years Google
I/O, it looks like Google may be cancelling the device as it is now
shown as ‘not for sale at this time’ on Google’s Play Store.
Google launched the Nexus Q at last years Google I/O and then shortly
after it was launched Google stopped selling the device, although
people who pre-ordered it received the Nexus Q.
It looks like Google may have cancelled the device, and it is not clear on whether they plan to re-launch a new version of its at this years Google I/O or if they plan to cancel it altogether.

Sony recently announced their new flagship Android smartphone, the Sony Xperia Z which will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean when it goes on sale shortly, and now Sony has confirmed that the device will get Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Sony has revealed in a Q&A session on their Sony Mobile Blog, that the Xperia Z will be getting the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update shortly after the handset goes on sale.
The Sony Xperia Z features a quad core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor
and 2GB of RAM, there is also a 5 inch full HD display with a 1920 x
1080 pixel resolution.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia Z include a 13 megapixel camera, and 4G LTE, the device is also resistant to dust and water and also features NFC.

LG has announced today that it has sold more than 1 million of its LG
Optimus G smartphones, which rolled out in September to Korea and later
to other countries during October 2012.
Although the LG Optimus G smartphone has yet to arrive in China as
yet and will probably significantly add to the already impressive
figures. Korean news agency Yonhap also reports that LG sold 7 million
smartphones in the third quarter of 2012, and is expected to sell in
excess of 45 million smartphones in 2013.

We first heard about the new flagship Android smartphone from HTC, the HTC M7 back in December, earlier in the week we saw a photo of the device along with a photo of HTC’s new custom UI HTC Sense 5.0.
Now we have another photo of the HTC M7, this one gives us a better
look at the device, which is rumored to come with a 4.7 inch full HD
display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The HTC M7 will apparently come with Android Jelly Bean and will be powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, clocked at 1.7GHz, and the handset will also feature 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
Other specifications on the HTC M7 include dual cameras, with a front facing 2 megapixel camera which is capable of full HD video in 1080p, and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera with an f/2.
