There are a lot of cool mobile device accessories you could put on
your Christmas shopping list and one of them should probably be RF
Laserworks’ heat sensitive backing for the iPhone. It’s self adhesive so you just slap it on to the back of your iPhone 4 or 4S and then watch your mobile change color depending on the temperature of the surface it comes in contact with. That would most frequently be either your hand or your pocket.
When the backing is black in color that means it’s still cold. Then
it moves up from red, yellow, green, and finally to deep blue as the
temperature rises. The material used is sensitive to within 90-95
degrees Fahrenheit. It’s also only .005 inches thick, which means it
will fit nicely under any other protective wrapping you put on your
Apple phone. Remember those mood rings back in the latter part of the
1970’s? Well you can basically

The guys over at Pocket Now have discovered a new trademark filing by
Verizon Wireless, for the word ‘Hologram’, which could mean that
Verizon has a new smartphone in the works which will be called the Hologram.
Both Sprint and AT&T currently offers 3D smartphones, and it is possible that Verizon intends to use the ‘Hologram’ brand for a 3D smartphone.
At the moment it is just speculation on what the name could be used for, and there is no evidence of a device at the moment, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.

RIM has confirmed that some of the companies BlackBerry 7 smartphones are suffering from a dying in sleep problem, and it seems the devices affected include the BlackBerry Bold 9930 and the 9900.
What seems to be happening is that when a deice is plugged in to
charge overnight, the handset wont respond in the morning, and the only
way to fix the issue is to remove the battery and re-insert it.
RIM has now confirmed they are working on a software update which is
expected to fix the issue, although they haven’t released any
information on when the update will become available.

The Samsung Galaxy S
II have been a huge success for Samsung, and we have already heard some
rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy S III, which we have previously
heard may come with a dual core processor.
Now it would appear that the new Samsung Galaxy S III will use the
new Samsung Exynos 4412 quad core processor, which will apparently have a
clock speed of up to 1.5GHz.
This would make sense for Samsung to use a quad core processor in the
next generation galaxy S smartphone, as we have already heard some
rumors of quad core handsets from the likes of HTC using the new NVIDIA
Tegra 3 processor.
We have also heard that the Galaxy S III will come with Android 4.0
Ice Cream Sandwich, 1GB of RAM and a 4.6 inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display witth a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, it is also rumored to feature a 12 megapixel camera, and offer support for NFC and LTE.
