Yesterday we had the new Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus, and today Samsung has announced another new Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M Style, which is designed to be an entry level Android device.
The Samsung Galaxy M Style features a 4 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display and comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it is powered by a single core 1GHz processor.
Other specifcations on the Samsung Galaxy M Style include a 3 megapixel camera, 4GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot and a 1650 mAh battery.
The
Samsung Galaxy M Style is expected to retail for around $500 SIM free
and it will be available in a range of different colors which include
Platinum Silver, Lavender Pink and Blue Black.
Earlier today we heard that Microsoft and Nokia will be spending around $100 million on a marketing push for their new Nokia Lumia 900 or Nokia Ace smartphone, and now some more specifications on the device have been revealed.
We know that the Nokia Ace or Nokia Lumia 900 is headed to AT&T,
but now it would appear that the device will also bed available outside
of the US and it will become Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone device.
According
to Pocket Now, the Nokia Ace will feature a 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen
display, a 1.4GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and an 8 megapixel camera, which we presume will be capable of full HD video in 1080p.
It
is reported to come with Windows Phone Mango, we had previously heard
that it may ship with Windows Phone Tango, and it looks like the device
will be officially announced at CES 2012 next week.
If you are wording how Nokia’s new Lumia 800 Windows Phone smartphone compares to Apple’s iPhone 4S, a video has been released which compares the browser on both devices.
The video below shows the browser benchmarks for the Nokia Lumia 800 compared to the Apple iPhone 4S and also the Apple iPhone 4.
From the video it looks like Apple’s iPhone 4S came out on top in the benchmarks performed on the three devices.

Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus include a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and an LED flash, HSDPA, WiFi and Samsung’s custom user interface, the TouchWiz UI.
It also features A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, plus an accelerometer, digital compass and a proximity sensor, it comes with 3GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards and 512MB of RAM.

We have been hearing quite a lot about the Meizu MX Android smartphone
recently, there is a quad core version reported to be coming later this
year, and the dual core version has now gone on sale in China and Hong
Kong.
As a reminder, the Meizu MX comes with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, although it is expected to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update within the next few months.
The
device is powered by a dual core Samsung Exynos 4210 1.4GHz processor
and it also features a 4 inch ASV touchscreen display with a 860 x 640
pixel resolution.
Other specifications on the Meizu MX include an 8
megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, there are no
details on when the device may be available in the US or Europe.
The Nokia Lumia 710 is Nokia’s first Windows Phone smartphone to
launch in the US, and it would appear that the device is getting closer
to release as it has now been listed on the T-Mobile website.
Although T-Mobile haven’t listed an exact launch date
as yet, as it is just listed as coming soon on their website, and the
handset will be available for $50 after rebates when you sign up to a
new two year contract.
As a reminder, the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 800 features a 3.7 inch WVGA touchscreen
display with an 800 x 480- pixel resolution, there is also 8GB of built
in storage and a single core 1.4GHz processor, plus Windows Phone 7.5
Mango.
Other specifications include 512MB of RAM, plus a 5 megapixel camera
with an LED flash and it can record HD video in 720p there is also a

LG and Prada recently announced their new Android smartphone, the LG
Prada 3.0, the device will go on sale in the UK in February and it is
launching today in South Korea with mobile providers SK Telecom and TK.
The
LG Prada 3.0 comes with a 4.3 inch touchscreen which features an 800 x
480 pixel resolution, plus Android Gingerbread and a dual core 1GHz
processor.
Other
specifications include 8GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot
that can take up to 32GB cards and an 8 megapixel camera which is
capable of recording full HD video in 1080p
The LG Prada 3.0 is now available in South Korea for 889,800 won without a contract which works out at around $776.
Sharp has launched their latest Android smartphone in Japan, the
Sharp Aquos IS14SH, which comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and the
device features a 3.7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x
540 pixels.
The Sharp Aquos IS14SH also comes with a slide out
numeric keypad, plus an 8 megapixel camera and 4GB of built in storage,
there are no details on what processor it is running.
There
are no details on pricing or availability as yet and also no details on
whether the Sharp Aquos IS14SH will be available outside of Japan.
Microsoft’s Windows Phone Market Place has hit a new milestone,
according to a recent report there are now more than 50,000 apps in the Windows Phone Marketplace.
According to All About Windows Phone,
17,276 apps have been added to the marketplace in the last 90 days and a
total of 8,010 apps have been added in the last 30 days.
It
took Microsoft just over a year to reach the 40,000 apps milestone, and
just 40 days to add the last 10,000 apps, which shows that the Windows
Phone Marketplace is growing steadily.
Microsoft is still along way off both Apple’s iOS app store and Google Android Market, we suspect it could take them some time to catch up.
We recently saw some leaked details on Sony Ericsson’s latest Android smartphone, which has the codename LT28at and is expected to launch with US mobile carrier AT&T.
Now according to a recent report by Fusible, it would appear that the device may be called the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ion, as the company has just registered this new trademark.
What we know so far is that the device will feature a 4.55 inch HD touchscreen
display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, plus a 13 megapixel
back illuminated camera and a front facing camera which is capable of
720p video.
Of course these specifications have yet to be
confirmed by Sony Ericsson, as soon as we get some more information we
will let you guys know.
