Yesterday we saw a photo which is reported to be of the new Google Nexus Prime which is being made by Samsung for Google, and we are expecting the Google Nexus Prime to be unveiled at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event later this month.


Now Samsung has released a teaser video for the Google Nexus Prime, and we get a very brief look at the handset from the side, we suspect Samsung may release a few more Nexus Prime teaser videos before it is officially unveiled.

What we have heard so far about the Samsung Google Nexus Prime is that it will will come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and will feature a 4.6 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Other specifications include and advanced 5 megapixel camera which will be capable of full HD video in 1080p, and a dual core 1.5GHz processor, as soon as we get some more information ... Read more »

The HTC Sensation XE was announced last month, and we have just got an email from the guys over at Clove to let us know that the HTC Sensation XE is now available in the UK.

The HTC Sensation XE features a dual core 1.5GHz processor, plus a 4.3 inch qHD display, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot.


It also comes an 8 megapixel camera on the back which can record Full HD video in 1080p, and a front facing VGA camera for video chat, plus it features Beats Audio.

The HTC Sensation XE is available for £492 SIM free including taxes from Clove.

It looks like Virgin Mobile in the US will have a couple of new Android smartphones, one of those is the new LG Optimus Slider which we heard about recently, and it comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The LG Optimus Slider features a full slide out QWERTY keyboard plus a 3.2 inch multi-touch touchscreen display, and a 3.2 megapixel camera, plus WiFi and Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot.

The LG Optimus Slider will be available from Virgin Mobile from the 17th of October for $199.99 on Virgin Mobile’s pre-paid contracts.

We know that the next Android smartphone from Google, will be the Google Nexus Prime, which is being made by Samsung for Google, and we have already heard some of the specifications on the Google Nexus Prime.


The Google Nexus Prime is rumored to feature a dual core TI OMAP 4460 processor, plus a 8 megapixel camera on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front for video chat, we don’t as yet have any official pictures of the Nexus Prime, but these concepts look amazing.


We have no idea if the Google Nexus Prime will look anything like these concept designs which were designed by the guys over at Ciccaresedesign, but we do know that it will come with Android Ice Cream Sandwich and it is expected to launch either this month or next month.

Apparently you don’t always need to be a huge developer with a string of AAA franchises to your name to secure the rights to an amazing IP. A gleam in your eye, a song in your heart and a happy-go-lucky attitude could serve in good stead, as first it did Chair Entertainment in 2010  with their Orson Scott Card collaboration and now Cyanide with not one, but two Game Of Thrones games.


The RTS under development at Cyanide  is common knowledge by now, but it’s the lesser known Planescape Torment-inspired RPG that has our complete attention. The RPG’s story unfolds in parallel to the books, though none of the protagonists are playable. George R. R. Sharp has announced their latest Android smartphone, the Sharp Aquos 102SH and it comes with some impressive specifications, which include a 4.5 inch glasses free 3D HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The Sharp Aquos 102SH is powered by a dual core 1GHz Ti OMAP 4430 processor, and it will come with Android Gingerbread, and also feature 1GB of RAM.


Other features on the Sharp Aquos 102SH include a microSDHC card which comes with a 32GB card installed, DLNA, Bluetooth, WiFi, and a 12 ,megapixel camera.

The Sharp Aquos 102SH will go on sale in Japan in December, there are no details on pricing as yet.

Dell has announced its latest Android device, in the form of an Android smartphone, the Dell Streak Pro 101DL, which is headed to Japan and it comes with a 4.3 inch qHD super AMOLED display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.

The Dell Streak Pro 101DL will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and it is powered by a dual core 1.5GHz processor, and also features an 8 megapixel camera for video and photos.


Up front there is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, there is also a microSD card slot and a 1,520mAh battery, it will go on sale in Japan in January.

We have already seen some leaked photos of the new Samsung Stratosphere, which is headed to Verizon, and now the guys over at Droid Life have got their hands on the full specifications, it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and features a slide out QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Stratosphere is powered by a single core 1GHz, and has 512MB of RAM, plus 4GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards and it will come with a 4GB microSD card.


The Stratosphere features a 4 inch Super AMOLED display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera, a 5 megapixel rear camera with an LED flash.

There are no official details on pricing as yet although it is expected to retail for around $149.

HTC announced their latest Android smartphone recently, the HTC Rhyme and it is now available in the US from today from Verizon Wireless, and will cost you $199 when you sign up to a new two year contract with Verizon.

The HTC Rhyme features a 3.7 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it will come with Android Gingerbread and HTC’s Sense 3.5 user interface.


It also comes with  HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, and a 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and an LED flash, and will also come with a range of exclusive accessories.

Last week we saw a leaked photo of the new HTC Explorer, its now official, and it is designed to be a budget friendly Android device, which will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.


The HTC Explorer features a 3.2 inch HVGA multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, there is also a 3 megapixel camera on the back.

"HTC Explorer is an easy-to-use smartphone that puts the customer in control, providing quick access to their most important content and information,” said Jason Mackenzie, president of global sales and marketing, HTC Corporation. "HTC Explorer is simply a smarter phone for anyone and it represents another clear demonstration of HTC’s global commitment to expanding the market for advanced smartphones.”

The HTC Explorer will go on sale in Asia and Europe in quarter four of 2011, there are no details on pricing as yet.
