There are a lot of cool mobile device accessories you could put on your Christmas shopping list and one of them should probably be RF Laserworks’ heat sensitive backing for the iPhone. It’s self adhesive so you just slap it on to the back of your iPhone 4 or 4S and then watch your mobile change color depending on the temperature of the surface it comes in contact with. That would most frequently be either your hand or your pocket.


When the backing is black in color that means it’s still cold. Then it moves up from red, yellow, green, and finally to deep blue as the temperature rises. The material used is sensitive to within 90-95 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s also only .005 inches thick, which means it will fit nicely under any other protective wrapping you put on your Apple phone. CryEngine 3 is the games engine that has been been developed by Crytek to create there fantastically detailed and graphical games for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.


Now an unknown intrepid developer has used the CryEngine 3 and recreated the fateful RMS Titanic. The passenger liner that struck an iceberg on her maiden voyage from Southampton, England, to New York City, and sank on 15 April 1912.

The developer has put the free software to use and a lot of work into the virtual Titanic detailing and has even included heaters and working toilets. Take a stroll yourself around the RMS Titanic below.

Google’s StreetView seems to get everywhere, and we are sure Google are trying to map every single part of the planet, and now Google has taken their StreetView inside the Google HQ.

This is probably as close as most of us will get to seeing isde the Google Headquarters, and you can no use StreetView to see around the Google Campus, and even inside parts of the offices.

The guys over at Pocket Now have discovered a new trademark filing by Verizon Wireless, for the word ‘Hologram’, which could mean that Verizon has a new smartphone in the works which will be called the Hologram.

Both Sprint and AT&T currently offers 3D smartphones, and it is possible that Verizon intends to use the ‘Hologram’ brand for a 3D smartphone.


At the moment it is just speculation on what the name could be used for, and there is no evidence of a device at the moment, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.

There have been plenty of new mod unveiled since the launch of Skyrim few weeks ago, but one of the most visually impressive is the one that allows you to spawn unlimited dragons.


Now gamer and modder ColloseusX has taken the spawn mod to the next level and has used it to create massive battles within Skyrim. Using creatures and characters and by flipping off the A.I., spawn a large groups, then flip the A.I. back on and watch the results. Watch a selection of battles after the jump.

ColloseusX has been having fun battling different races against each other including : 42 Imperials versus 10 Forsworn, 40 Stormcloaks versus 2 Draugr Death Overlords, 30 Bandits versus 2 Falmer Skulkers.

Fans of the Final Fantasy games are sure to enjoy this new cinematic trailer which has been released by developers Square Enix for the upcoming launch of their new Final Fantasy XIII-2 game.

The new Final Fantasy XIII-2 cinematic trailer after the jump called "Battle of Valhalla” brings the excitement of the game alive and shows a glimpse of the storyline that will continue in the new game.


The new Final Fantasy XIII-2 game which is a direct sequel to the 2009 role playing game Final Fantasy XIII. Will be officially launching on Japan on December 15, 2011, January 31, 2012 in North America and February 3, 2012 in Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

LG has already produced a couple of smartphones with fashion brand Prada, and now the company has announced that LG has signed a new agreement, which will see more LG Prada branded smartphones in the future.

It looks like we will see a new LG Prada smartphone some time in 2012, and this teaser image which you can see below was sent along with the press release from LG.

Google has this week announced via a blog post that it is enabling, forward secrecy by default on its Gmail service. Which will make sure that any emails you have written today will stay as safe in the future when faster and more powerful machines will become available that might be able to decrypt the security.

Google explains that initially, only Chrome and Firefox will use the new forward secrecy by default, when using Google services, as at the moment Microsoft’s Internet Explorer doesn’t support the combination of ECDHE and RC4. But Google do hope to be able to support Internet Explorer in the future.

A free Gears of War 3 Versus Booster Pack DLC has been released for Gear of War 3 fans today. Which brings with five new multiplayer maps for you to enjoy.


The five maps included in the Gears of War 3 Versus Booster Pack are :Blood Drive, Rustlung, Azura, Bullet Marsh and Clocktower. You can view a quick preview of Clocktower after the break.

If you have already bought the previous DLC you will already have 3 of the included maps. But now will be able to play with all those gamers that didn’t drop their hard earned cash for the last map DLC.
