After securing a healthy $2.4 million in funding the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset
team has been busy creating the developer kits for their new device,
which is hoped will take gaming to the next level of interaction.
To re-cap the new Oculus Rift virtual reality headset has been
designed specifically for video games and provides players with a wide
field of view, high resolution display, and ultra-low latency head
tracking.
The Oculus Rift virtual reality headset began its journey on
Kickstarter back in August, and has this week announced that developers
can expect to start receiving their Oculus Rift development kits in
March 2013.

If you are a little disappointed when the developers of Sniper Ghost Warrior
2 announced the delay of the game’s release until early in 2013. This
new gameplay trailer which is being released for the up-and-coming and
highly anticipated Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 shows you a glimpse of what
you can expect when the game is officially launched.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 uses the awesome CryEngine 3 games engine and will be launched on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in January 2013. However a Wii U version of Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 is also rumoured to be under development. "Sniper:

Portal fans might be pleased to learn that Valve has this week rolled
out a new update to its PC Portal 2 game which has brought with it a
number of highly requested features.
The latest Portal 2 PC game update has now added the highly
anticipated 2 controller splitscreen support for Standard Co-Op, which
can now activated by pressing the "X” on the additional controller
inside the first Co-op menu.
Other new features in the update
include Big Picture Support, as well as fixes and tweaks,
more notably fixing the issues experience by players using
the controller’s ‘quick ping’ button, which caused a player’s movement

Razer has this week announced that their new Razer Game Booster
software which has been in a closed beta development stage for some
time, has now been launched into a public beta test phase and is now
available for all to download and install for free. Razer has
developed their Game Booster software to help gamers easily tweak the
setting on their PC systems to get the most from their games and

Fans of the Hitman
franchise have no doubt often wondered what Agent 47 would look like in
futuristic clothes. And now it looks like gamers will be able to dress
Agent 47 in some futuristic gear in the upcoming Hitman: Absolution Deux
Ex Human Revolution DLC.
Some of the DLC’s features are already being offered as pre-order
bonuses for some gamers in the U.S., but apparently once the DLC has
been released, these bonuses will be available to everyone. Players
will be able to dress Agent 47 in Adam Jensen’s outfit and he will also
have a futuristic gun. There’s also a "High Roller” suit with a
Krugermeier 2-2 Pistol, or a "Public Enemy” suit with a Bronson M1928
SMG.

Activision has today released a new patch for the PlayStation 3 version of their new Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 game, which some gamers have revealed are experiencing system on their PS3 consoles.
PlayStation 3 locking issues experienced by gamers were occurring
during online multiplayer sessions, specifically when entering a public
multiplayer lobby.
The issues were reported by gamers to Activision who yesterday said
that they were aware of some players still experiencing system lock-ups
despite installing the patch explaining: "and we are doing everything we
can to get to the bottom of it as quickly as possible”.
To install the new patch on your PS3 console simply start-up Call of
Duty: Black Ops 2 and signing to play online, this will automatically
trigger a patch down

Xbox 360
and PlayStation 3 gamers who have been a little disgruntled with a
number of glitches and bugs found within the new Assassin’s Creed 3
game. We’ll be pleased to learn that Ubisoft has announced that a
huge patch is currently being finalised for release for the new is
expected to go live Assassin’s Creed 3 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The
Assassin’s Creed 3 patch for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles
"by the end of next week”, Ubisoft explained the Assassin’s Creed 3
official forum. Ubisoft continued by saying that the PC version
will launch with the new patch included, hopefully making for a less
buggy version of Assassin’s Creed 3 for PC than for the Xbox 360 and
PlayStation 3 launch. .

With Planetside 2′s launch date edging ever closer SOE have now released the new MMO game on to Valve’s Steam gaming network, keeping their promise which was made a few months back.
The awesome sequel to the original Planetside game which first
launched back in 2003, has been under beta testing the last few months,
and if you haven’t already had a chance to check it out beta keys are
still available, together with a Alpha Squad package which provide a few
pre-order bonuses and a beta key.
However when Planstside 2 officially
launches next week on November 20th, the game will be free to play, with

Electronic Arts has today announced and released a demo of its
new Need for Speed: Most Wanted driving game on to the Sony PlayStation
Network and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Xbox Live games network, for you to enjoy. The
newly released Most Wanted demo puts gamers behind the wheel of one of
the titles most recognisable, cars, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage. But
players also have access to three additional cars placed in different
areas of Fairhaven. Including the awesome Porsche 911 Carrera S, the Audi R8 GT Spyder and the Ford Focus RS500.
