Infinity Ward has announced in an interview that it will be taking a hard line on cheaters in its latest Modern Warfare 3 title. Looking to remove cheaters for its online games once and for all using a new code verification technology.
We have all experienced it at some time whilst playing online games,
the lone gunman you cant drop, who amazingly drops everyone else with a
single headshot. Cheaters have been an ongoing problem within Modern Warfare 2 but when Modern Warfare 3 launches in November there maybe a lot less if any to worry about.
Infinity Ward Robert Bowling explains in a interview with Gamespy :
"I can’t go into specifics. On a general high level area there’s
so much more stuff that we’ve locked down and made less accessible than
we had before. A lot of stuff that we stripped out, a lot more challenge

While it may have recently laid claim to one of the industry’s most
storied studios and revived one of the most cherished RPG series in
existence, Bethesda will always be the house that Elder Scrolls
built. As well as the house that built Elder Scrolls. And seeing how
very few studios can manage a proper single-player RPG these days, much
less a sweeping epic with fully explorable vistas that make your knees
wobbly, there was no way we were going to miss a chance for some quality
time with Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim at Eurogamer Expo.
Visually, it’s not the dramatic step up Oblivion was over Morrowind,
but your breath will still catch when looking at that first horizon
line. Even disregarding the occasional placeholder textures and errant
animation, you can almost feel the crispness of the unfolding titular
patch of Tamriel rub ag

Battlefield
3 is not a religious experience. But at times it can be spiritual.
During the fifteen minutes we spent with it at Eurogamer Expo, there
were perhaps five when we didn’t feel like we were a young, confused
young man caught up in madness he hadn’t signed up for, but steeling
himself to see it through and get the job done. Slightly unusual for
your run of the mill Deathmatch game, that.
If there’s one axiom when it comes to FPS games,
is that they use visual effects as either a blunt instrument or a back
of the box bullet point generator. Most of the successful ones do both.
Battlefield 3 felt, for that brief period, like a shooter that forgot
itself and accidentally went subtly wonderful all of a sudden. We’re not
sure what map we played, but we’re okay with that. The experience was
much too well orchestrated to be limited to one map. We be

It was going to be incredibly hard to improve upon the towering
achievement that was Mass Effect 2. Combat mechanics that sang, sharp
level design, interesting side-quests that amounted to a lot more than
the RPG default fetch or kill, astounding texture work, we were fairly
certain not even Bioware could top themselves when we first picked up
the controller to put the Mass Effect 3 demo through its paces at this
year’s Eurogamer Expo.
Now, we can’t say whether they’ve succeeded, because that’s not the
sort of thing fifteen minutes with a demo tells you. What we can tell
you is that what we played featured none of the ballyhooed Earth
locations seen in earlier trailers. In fact, the environment was so
generic it might have been the Citadel Post Office. There wasn’t the
slightest generic, however, about the ensuing fight with Cerberus shock
troops to p

A couple of weeks ago Sony updated its terms of service of its PSN
service to stop its users being able to file lawsuits against Sony if
anything were to go wrong again. As it did when Sony’s network was
hacked and left 70 million Sony users personal information exposed. Now
EA has also followed suit and amended their terms of service for their
online Origin digital download service to bock similar action by its
users if anything should go wrong.
In signing up with Origin you agree to
"waive the right to trial by jury” as well as "foregoing the right to
sue in court,” and that you will only bring a claim against EA as an
individual "not as a plaintiff or class member.”
"YOU UNDERSTAND THAT BY THIS PROVISION, YOU AND EA ARE FOREGOING THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A JURY TRIAL.”
By implementing the new changes EA has b
