Dead Space fans looking forward to the official release of the third in the series, are sure to enjoy this new launch trailer which has been released this week to whet your appetite for its arrival.

Dead Space 3 will be launching on February 5th in the US,  February 7th in the Australia  and February 8th throughout Europe, and will see Isaac Clarke battle against the Necromorphs, human corpses reanimated by the signal of a Marker. Watch the Dead Space 3 launch trailer after the jump to see it in action.

Via Twitter today producers Casey Hudson and Michael Gamble from the Mass Effect development team tweeted a couple of new screenshots, which could be from the new Mass Effect 3 DLC which is currently in development.

Very little detail is known about the new Mass Effect 3 DLC but these first images unveiled today are for unannounced content for the action role-playing game, and could provide a few clues as to what you can expect.

Hudson teased about the image he tweeted below : "Looks like a nice place for some R&R…”  and  about the picture above  showing an armored Krogan creature wielding a heavy melee weapon. Gamble said of the image, "Does not like a guy you’d like to mess with…”

Epic Games has today announced that they will be launching a new demo of their upcoming Gears of War: Judgment game which is currently in development, on the same day it is launched in the US.

Gears of War: Judgment is set to be released by Epic Games on March 19th for Xbox Live Gold members in the US and Friday 22nd March in the UK.

"Gears of War: Judgment will have two new multiplayer modes, OverRun and Free-for-All, including maps as Gondola, Island and Library. The series trademark feature, ‘Down but Not Out’, will be absent in the Free-for-All game modes, also resulting in the absence of executions.”

Ubisoft has this week announced a release date for the new Assassin’s Creed 3: The Tyranny of King DLC which will now be arriving for Xbox 360 and PC gamers on the 19th February.

Unfortunately for European PlayStation 3 games they will have to wait an extra day for 20th February, and currently there’s is no date for the release of a Wii U version. Watch the games trailer after the jump. Enjoy!

Today the new EVE Online first-person-shooter spin-off Dust 514 has opened its doors for public beta testing, allowing anyone with a PS3 to join up and fight for a cause.

To celebrate the Dust 514 beta opening to all, CCP Games has also released a new cinematic trailer providing a glimpse into the infantry and vehicle warfare of Dust 514, and its effects on the EVE Online game.

CCP Games claims that this is the first time two games from two different platforms and genres have linked together to create one integrated world. So is you own a PS3, PlayStation 3 gamers can now download and play the game in its pre-release form.

If you  have been saving for a NeoGeo X handheld gaming console or are thinking of purchasing one you might need to hurry along a little as, reports have indicated that production of the NeoGeo X are coming to an end.

Its not a surprise that the NeoGeo X production is coming to an end, after all it was a limited edition gaming console and will continue to be supported long after production closes, explains the Gamer website.

Plans are already underway to release new SNK games for the NeoGeo X handheld games console, as well as a screen protector for the and an AC adapter.

Nintendo has today announced via its Nintendo Direct broadcast, that two new updates will be rolling out to the new Wii U games console during the Spring.

Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata made the announcement this morning revealing that the new updates will provide a speed boost when returning to the Wii U’s menu system.

Together with software on the Wii U loading faster, and a new Virtual console also heading to the Wii U within the the Spring updates. Previously, the Nintendo Virtual Console service was only accessible via the Wii emulator on Nintendo’s new console.

Halo 2 multiplayers will be disappointed to learn that Microsoft has announced it will be closing the doors on its servers next month. With 15th February marking the end date for the Halo

2 PC multiplayer service.

As well as announcing then end of the Halo 2 Multiplayer service next month Microsoft also revealed more information on new Spartan Ops episodes of which the second  half of Season One launches next Monday.

Today Rockstar Games has announced that the final Max Payne 3 DLC will be arriving on January 22nd 2013, which will be available to Rockstar Pass owners at no extra charge.

The new Max Payne 3 DLC called Deathmatch Made in Heaven Pack will include a new co-op and competitive modes, and will be the first time co-op has ever been included with any Max Payne game.
