We have heard rumors in the past that Nokia are working on a Windows based tablet device, and now according to a recent report Nokia are apparently working on a Windows RT based tablet.

According to Digitimes, Nokia are working with Qualcomm and Compal to develop a Windows RT tablet, and it could be possible that we may see the device early next year.


Nokia originally planned to develop a 10-inch Windows RT tablet equipped with Qualcomm’s S4 processor in first-quarter 2012, with Compal to undertake ODM production and initial shipments of 200,000 units to test the market, the sources indicated. Sony has revealed some more details on when it will be releasing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update to its 2012 Xperia smartphones, the update will arrive in February 2013.

Some devices will get the update in February, which include the Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V beginning and February and continuing in March, so we presume this update will be rolled out in stages.


The Xperia P, Xperia J and Xperia Go Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will be rolled out in March, and a couple of weeks after that the Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia ion and Xperia Acro S will also get Android 4,.1 Jelly Bean.

e have been hearing rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Grand over the last few weeks, the device is now official and we have the full specifications on this new Android smartphone from Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand features a 5 inch WVGA TFT LCD display, processing is provided by a dual core 1.2GHz processor, and the device comes with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.


Other specifications in the Samsung Galaxy Grand, include 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards, there is also a 2,100 mAh battery, WiFi, DLNA and USB 2.0.

We have already seen some leaked photos of the Huwei Ascend W1, and now it would appear that Huawei will be launching the device along with another smartphone, the Ascend D2 which is an Android device at CES in January of next year.

The news comes from Huawei’s Richard Yu announced the new on Weibo, and the Ascend D2 will come with a five inch display with a 1080p resolution plus a quad core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.


The Huawei Ascend W1 is rumored to come with a 4 inch WVGA display and will apparently feature a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, plus 512MB of RAM and  4GB of built in storage.

US mobile carrier AT&T has released the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Motorola Atrix HD smartphone on their network, and the update brings a range of new features to the handset.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Motorola Atrix HD has been released as an OTA update, and you can check to see if it is available on your device by going to the settings menu.

It would appear that another Android device may be getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, the HTC Evo 4G on US mobile carrier Sprint, as the guys over at Android Police have received a screenshot of an internal Sprint pages which shows the update is being released on the 13th of December.

Sprint have yet to officially announce when the HTC Evo 4G LTE will be getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, hopefully there should be some more details later today if the leaked document is correct.


As soon as we get some more information and some confirmation from Sprint that the HTC Evo 4G  is getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update today on Sprint we will let you guys know.

Yesterday we heard a rumor that Sprint would be releasing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for their HTC Evo 4G LTE smartphone, and now it would appear that the update is available for the device.

We have received a few emails from a couple of our readers who own the device and they have received the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update on their HTC Evo 4G.


The update is being released as an OTA update and is apparently being rolled out in stages, you can find out more information over at Sprint.

HTC has announced that they are announcing a new Android smartphone here in the UK, the HTC One SV which will launch in the UK in the ‘coming weeks’, the device will comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4.

The HTC One SV is powered by a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, there is also a 4.3 inch inch Super LCD 2 touchscreen display and dual cameras.

On the front of the HTC One SV there is a 1.6 megapixel camera for video chat, plus a rear facing 5 megapixel f/2.0 backside illuminated camera with 1080p HD video and Panorama.

RIM will launch the next version of their mobile OS, BlackBerry 10 on the 30th of January 2013, along with the launch of the new BlackBerry 10 OS there will also be two new BlackBerry 10 smartphones.

One device will feature a QWERTY keyboard and will be similar to the BlackBerry Curve, the other will be a full touchscreen device and will be called the BlackBerry L-Series or London.
