HTC & AT&T announced a new Android smartphone
recently, the HTC One VX, which we had previously heard would be
available from AT&T in November, and now it would appear that the
handset will launch on AT&T on the 7th of December. The HTC One VX comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4, it features a 4.5 inch qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, and the device comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Other specifications on the HTC One VX include a 5 megapixel camera
which can record HD video in 1080p and it also comes with NFC,the device
will be available for $49 when you sign up to a new two year contract
with AT&T.

Verizon Wireless
has announced that they will be releasing the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
update to two of their smartphones this week, the Droid RAZR HD and the
Droid RAZR Maxx HD.
The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update will bring a number of new features
to both devices, which include voice search, updated notifications,
Google Now and more.
DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD by Motorola are the next smartphones to be upgraded to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean. The software upgrade
will be pushed out to customers in phases starting next week. Customers
can visit the support page for more information about the Jelly Bean
upgrade.
Verizon have not given a specific date this week on when the update
will be available for the Droid RAZR H

RIM will launch their first BlackBerry 10 smartphones early next year, the devices will launch shortly after the launch of RIM’s BlackBerry 10 OS which is due to launch on the 30th of January.
There will be two BlackBerry 10 enabled devices available, one with a
physical QWERTY keyboard, similar to the existing BlackBerry Curve, and
a second full touchscreen device, the BlackBerry L Series.
We have already seen a number of photos of the new BlackBerry
L Series, and now we have a photo of the device, which you can see
above next to the latest smartphones from a range of manufacturers.

Samsung has announced a new range of flip covers for its latest Android smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Note II and the Samsung Galaxy S III, and the new flip covers are designed to protect the back and also the screen of your handset.

Galaxy Note II owners looking for a little more juice to carry them
through the day, might be interested in a new battery which has been

We have already seen a leaked photo of Huawei’s new Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Huawei Ascend W1, and now it would appear that Huawei may be getting ready to announce the device. The news comes from the guys over at Windows Phone Italy, who have been told by a Huawei manager that the company will soon be introducing a new Windows Phone handset. The Huawei Ascend W1 is rumored to come with a 4 inch WVGA display and will apparently feature a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, plus 512MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage. The
handset is also rumored to come with a front and rear facing camera,
although there are no details on the cameras as yet, plus a 2,000 mAh

Lenovo has added a new Android smartphone to their range with the launch of the Lenovo P770, the handset comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and features a 4.5 inch IPS qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Other

camera with an LED flash for photos and video and a front facing VGA
camera for video chat. The
Lenovo P770 also comes with a dual core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM
And 4GB of built in storage, and the handset comes with a massive 3,500
mAh battery, which according to Lenovo will give you up to 29 hours of

RIM has announced that their integrated carrier billing in BlackBerry App World is now available with more than 50 mobile carrier, and they also said that the BlackBerry App world is now available in more than 170 countries and there are more than 100,000 applications available to download. Integrated
carrier billing enables a customer to purchase apps or digital goods on
their BlackBerry smartphone, and simply and conveniently have the
purchases put directly on their regular monthly bill from their carrier.
Integrated carrier billing is also integrated with the BlackBerry
Payment Service, which enables developers and content providers to offer
in-app purchases (such as additional levels in a game), as well as
supporting one-off and recurring (subscription-based) purchases, without

HTC recently released some more information on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
update for a number of its devices, and now it would appear that HTC
has started rolling out the Android Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X,
this is for the Tegra 3 powered international version of the device.
The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One X is around 365MB
in size, and it is apparently rolling out in the UK, India, Argentina,
Russia, Peru, Brazil, and more countries.
This update is not for the AT&T version of the HTC One X, the HTC
One XL< the update for this handset is expected within the next few
weeks, although no specific date has been given.

The Sony Xperia
T has been available for a while now in the UK, although the device has
only been available in black, and now the white version of the Sony
Xperia T will be available in the UK next week, this is the SIM free version of the device.
The Sony Xperia T comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and
features a 4.6 inch touchscreen display, there is also a dual core
1.5GHz processor and a 13 megapixel camera.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia T include a front facing 1.3
megapixel camera for video chat, 16GB of built in storage plus 50GB of
free cloud storage.
