The Nokia Lumia 920 and the new HTC
8x are due to go on sale later this month wen Microsoft launches
Windows phone 8, and both device will be available with US carrier
AT&T.
AT&T has yet to announce pricing details for either
device, although Best Buy listed both handsets on their website, showing
that the HTC 8X will retail for $99 and the Nokia Lumia 920 will retail for $149.
These
prices are for when you take out a new two year contract with AT&T,
and there were no details on exactly when they would be available
although Microsoft are holding their Windows Phone 8 launch event on the
29th of October.
Mozilla has today released the latest Aurora version of Firefox for
Android, and with it has opened the doors on its Firefox Marketplace to
early adopters and developers.
The Mozilla Firefox Marketplace has been designed to offer a similar service to that of Google’s Web Store for Chrome, enabling users to browse the store and discover mobile web applications, which can be showcased by developers.
As well as offering web applications the new Firefox
Marketplace will also offer APIs for application discovery, submission

We have already seen a photo of the new Windows Phone 8 handset from Huawei, the Ascend W1, and now we have a press shot of the device which was posted to Twitter by @evleaks.
@evleaks has been responsible for leaking a number of different
smartphones over the last couple of months, what we heard previously is
that the Huawei Ascend W1 will feature a 4inch WVGA mulit-touch display.
Other rumored specifications on the Huawei Ascend W1 include a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 512MB of RAM 4GB of built in storage, a 2,000 mAh battery and front and rear cameras.
The device is rumored to feature afront facing VGA camera for video chat and a rear facing 5 megapixel
camera for photos and video, the device is expected to go on sale in
China at first, there are no details on a release date as yet.
We have already seen some photos of a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone from ZTE, and now the company has confirmed that they will be launching a new Windows Phone 8 smartphone early in 2013.
ZTE recently teased some of these Windows Phone 8 devices, and we can expect the first one to launch early in quarter one of 2013, so it could possibly be some time in January.
There are no details as yet on what hardware these new Windows Phone 8
handsets from ZTE will have, as soon as we get some more information we
will let you guys know.
Sony has announced another new Android smartphone
that is headed to Japan, the Sony Xperia VL which will be available
with Japan’s KDDI, the device will come with Android 4.0 Ice Cream
Sandwich.
The Sony Xperia VL features a 4.3 inch HD Reality Display with Sony’s Mobile Bravia
Engine 2, it also comes with a 13 megapixel camera and a 1.5GHz

It looks like Acer’s Iconia Tab A110 tablet
will shortly go on sale in the US, as Acer have announced that their 7
inch tablet will be available from the 30th of October for around $229.
The
Acer Iconia Tab A110 will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it comes
with a 7 inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels,
processing is provided by a quad core 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
Other
specifications on the Acer Iconia Tab A110 include a front facing 2
megapixel camera, 8GB of built in storage, a microSD card slot, micro
HDMI, USB 2.0, WiFi and Bluetooth.

It has been rumoured for some time that Nokia is currently developing
new Windows 8 powered tabletsto add to its range of hardware. Now a
couple of patents have revealed more details about how the new Nokia
Windows 8 tablets might be constructed.
The
Nokia patents reveal two designs and suggest that the new Nokia Windows
8 tablets may incorporate an extended N9 unibody design, if details
within the patents granted to Nokia on March 15, 2011, are to be
considered.

It has been quite a while since we have featured one of the will it blend videos on Geeky Gadgets, and now the guys from Blendtec decided to put a new iPhone 5 and a Samsung Galaxy S III in their blender to see which one would blend quicker.

the video it looks like the Galaxy S III lasted a little longer, so if

Earlier this month Best Buy announced that they would be releasing their own Android tablet, the Insignia Flex, and now it would appear that we may have some pricing details about their new tablet.
According to a recent report by Reuters, who have received some information from one of their sources, the Insignia Flex tablet will retail for between $239 and $259.
